Property investors often talk about using debt to build wealth. In the share market, that's called gearing. With the BetaShares WealthBuilder range, investors can access moderate gearing into shares, and with the newly launched GG-BL, That means exposure to a diversified portfolio of around 1,300 global companies excluding Australia, all with no loan applications, credit checks, or margin calls. Gearing magnifies both gains and losses, so it's only suitable for investors with a very high tolerance for risk. You can learn more about the WealthBuilder range of ETFs at the BetaShares website. And don't forget to read the PDS and TMD to decide if it's right for you. BetaShares Capital Limited is the issuer.

Good to be back, Owen, and it's a little bit sunnier than it was yesterday, Sunday.
Owen 2:35
It was quite dreary in Melbourne. Yeah, we're recording this on Monday morning, nice and early, just to get in and while we're fresh, record some wonderful finance work between us. So what are we talking about today, Kate?
Kate 2:50
So today we're talking about some of the government subsidies that have come into play recently and also some of the super changes that you may have seen on the news about actually being able to take money out of your super, which is quite crazy.
Owen 3:05
Yeah, there's quite a bit of controversy about taking money out of super early. But then also we've seen on the news how people are lining up around the block to to go to Centrelink and to try and find out if they're eligible for payments and whatnot. So there are many Australians who are affected by, I guess, by the recent, I guess, coronavirus outbreak and the subsequent economic fallout. To be honest, I doubt that we've seen the last of this. We're only in the, I guess, the first inning, so to speak. But already we're seeing, you know, huge demand on the government for resources and for stimulus. And I guess we're hoping just to demystify some of the stuff that's going on, right?
Kate 3:48
Yeah, and there seems to be new announcements every day. So when this episode comes out, there'll probably be something new out there in the news. So it's definitely worth keeping track of it and having a look at the ATO and Centrelink websites because they seem to be getting updated quite quickly as well. So in terms of information, not access, I don't think.
