Property investors often talk about using debt to build wealth. In the share market, that's called gearing. With the BetaShares WealthBuilder range, investors can access moderate gearing into shares, and with the newly launched GG-BL, That means exposure to a diversified portfolio of around 1,300 global companies excluding Australia, all with no loan applications, credit checks, or margin calls. Gearing magnifies both gains and losses, so it's only suitable for investors with a very high tolerance for risk. You can learn more about the WealthBuilder range of ETFs at the BetaShares website. And don't forget to read the PDS and TMD to decide if it's right for you. BetaShares Capital Limited is the issuer.

G'day, Kate Campbell. Welcome to this episode of the Australian Finance Podcast.
Kate 2:07
Good to be back, Owen, and we're trying something a little bit new today.
Owen 2:10
Yeah, what are we trying?
Kate 2:12
So the plan is that each month we're going to do a semi-deep dive, whatever you can get in 15 to 20 minutes, on a share or an ETF that's suggested by our community or recent news or something that's topical. So we'll do the research and we'll share something that potentially you haven't heard much about before with you.
Owen 2:34
Yeah, so this month, to give some context to that, we're going to do a semi-deep dive into an ETF which goes by the ticket code CLNE, which is very popular right now because you can probably imagine that basically equals clean and the full name of the ETF is the VanEck Clean Energy ETF. And one of the ideas that we have, which we're hoping to pull off, would be we present our community, our Facebook community, the Instagram community, Everyone that's on our social media with a list of ETFs or shares and you vote at which one we would do a deep dive into that month. So we're going to start by picking our own one, which is the VanEck Clean Energy ETF. And we're going to talk about it. We're going to talk about all the kind of basics that you would consider before investing in something like this.
Owen 3:24
This is not going to be a full deep dive to Kate's point. So we'll provide some links in the resources, which you can then go and investigate yourself.
Kate 3:30
Yeah, and clean is a fairly new thematic ETF to this trend scene. But I just wanted to say before we start that it's definitely not an ETF recommendation from Owen, myself or the RAS team. And we don't have any past or current recommendations on clean within our services. And neither of us actually own clean either.
Owen 3:50
Yes, that's a really good point. So we're going to try and be 110% transparent with you. So yeah, when we talk about this, so please don't get confused about us talking about this and a recommendation from our RASC ETF service, which is for our members.
