Regardless of your current skill level, there is a lot to be said for engaging with a sportfishing guide. If you're fishing away from your home waters you'll usually have very limited time to figure out the fish, the tides and conditions, but a day or two with a guide can quickly get you up to speed. Even on your home waters there is usually plenty that can be learned from someone who's livelihood depends on being able to guide their clients to fish day in, day out. I talk to a lot of fishing guides and also receive a lot of requests from ALF listeners who are looking for help to find the right guide for them. So I'm testing a platform for connecting my listeners with their ideal fishing guide. Check it out at https://doclures.com/guides/
