The company cited an unspecified ground systems issue. Now, the test flight would have been the 10th for Starship after a string of failures this year, including explosions and satellite deployment mishaps. By the way, no new launch time has been announced. The Trump administration is escalating its military deployment in Washington. A Defense Department official tells the Associated Press some National Guard units are now patrolling the Capitol with firearms, including handguns and rifles. Now, the shift follows a directive issued last week by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
Meantime, President Trump is threatening to send federal troops into Baltimore after a spat with Maryland Governor Wes Moore. In a post Sunday on Truth Social, Trump accused Moore of having a poor record on crime, and the president warned he may quickly clean up the city, as he did in Washington. The IDF said one missile launched Friday, carried multiple explosive devices, the first of its kind fired from Yemen toward Israel.
Now, residents reported large fires, while Houthi media says two people were killed and five others injured.
