News when you want it with Bloomberg News Now. I'm Karen Moscow. We begin in Arizona. Authorities releasing a man detained in connection with the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. The man who only wants to be identified as Carlos said he was detained after a traffic stop. He spoke with reporters outside his home in Rio Rico, Arizona. And Carlos added that he does not know who Guthrie is or why law enforcement thought he might be connected to her kidnapping. The case has attracted international attention. It took a dramatic turn when the FBI released photo and video images of the possible suspect outside Guthrie's home near Tucson. A video posted on X shows a masked individual wearing gloves approaching the front door with what appears to be a handgun in a holster and carrying a large backpack.

And that's Indiana Republican Marlon Stutzman, who appeared on Bloomberg's Balance of Power. The Senate is already on record opposing the president's emergency tariffs. It would take a two-thirds vote to override a likely presidential veto. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to meet President Trump at the White House today as Israel's concerns over a potential diplomatic deal between Iran and the U.S. mount.
