A search and rescue mission is currently ongoing for the second crew member. This marks the first downing of a U.S. jet in the now 35-day war in Iran. President Trump has threatened to go after Iran's infrastructure by destroying bridges and electric power plants as the U.S. bombed Iran's tallest bridge. Trump says the U.S. military hasn't even started destroying what's left in Iran, warning on social media overnight that Iran's leadership quote, knows what has to be done and has to be done fast. A French container ship and a Japanese-owned tanker have exited the Strait of Hormuz in what appears to be the first known transit through the waterway by a vessel linked to Western Europe since the war in Iran started.
