days, 40 nights. Lots to get into with the midterms here. We also have an AI safety researcher that we're going to speak to today, Roman Yapolsky. We'll be having him on to talk about the latest in AI safety, what Zuckerberg, Jensen, and more are saying about it, as well as the Bernie bill that will arrest people and send them to jail if they violate the rules of research. We're also going to be speaking to L.A. City Council member Nithya Raman, who is running for L.A. mayor and just had a poll showing her leading the incumbent Karen Bass by double digits. And we've got a little bit of midterm news to get into. But, Crystal, why don't we start at the U.N., where Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu spoke and caused quite a stir.
Why don't we start with this clip about the beepers? Israel hammered Hamas. We pummeled Hezbollah. Remember the beepers? Remember?
Well, I can tell you this. Hezbollah certainly remembers them.
So regular stand up, Griffin, as a fellow stand up, how do you rate him?
Well, it was getting a little more claptor than laughter there, which is never a good sign. Just normal
stuff.
Crystal, was there any moment in particular that you wanted to focus on from this speech?
Oh, well, I mean, just love to see us celebrating acts of terrorism, state-sponsored terrorism at the U.N. And worth keeping in mind when you hear that applause coming for that particular act of terrorism. much of the the many of the delegations actually walked out and i think you have some of that we could put up on the screen and uh so the the chamber was relatively empty the israelis brought in you know a bunch of their people to enthusiastically clap things like you know mass murder so that's part of what was going on there there was also another moment where he seemed to be threatening i mean the bring the beeper itself is kind of low-key a threat and then he also made this mention of you know the whole un could be blown up with a ballistic missile so just saying um
