that talking about trauma isn't always great for people. It's not always the best thing. About a third of people who are traumatized as kids feel worse when they talk about it, get very dysregulated.

Chapter 2: What is the main conflict in this episode?
We'll think of some good advice to give you before we let you call your boyfriend to confront him to ask why he tried to lie to you and give you fake designer handbags.
I already feel bad for this guy. He's about to get a phone call.
Or maybe he doesn't even realize they were fakes. Yeah. We'll try and figure it out with your Awkward Tuesday phone call right after this. Thanks, guys. It's awkward. It's Tuesday. It's Awkward Tuesday phone call. Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning.
We're talking to our listener, Farrah, who says one of her favorite things in the world is getting a designer handbag from her boyfriend, Ramon, every year for the holidays.
Just hits different when you hear this music with it, too. It really does, actually.
But one of her least favorite things is finding out three Christmases in that at least one of those designer bags was a fake.
Oh.
And possibly all the other ones too. Meanwhile, Ramon, he's been taking credit and accepting praise for being such a great boyfriend for all these years, for all of his generosity. And that realization has made Farrah question the entire relationship. What else is he faking? Is her boyfriend really trustworthy, or has he just been trying to deceive her this entire time?
She has not spoken to him about it yet, and that's why she wants our help. Farrah, does all that sound correct? Are we missing anything from the story? I think that's about right. I like how she started sad and then just got more angry as she told it. Well, maybe you'll feel a little bit better after we get you some advice here. Brooke, what do you think? What's your advice?

Chapter 3: How does Farrah feel about her relationship with Ramon?
It's the same one I got for you. So, yeah.
Cool. Okay. Well, where? Where'd you get it?
Oh, yeah. I got it downtown, babe. That's where I usually get my stuff, downtown.
Okay. Like their downtown store? Like the official one?
Yeah, like downtown, you know?
Like, yeah. Okay, you keep saying downtown. You've said it, like, four times now. Can you be more specific?
Yeah, baby, like, downtown is a store, you know? You know this store.
Oh, my God, you just said it again. Let me make it, like, really clear for you, really clear and simple, because obviously you need that. I think I know why you don't remember.
Yeah.

Chapter 4: What lie did Farrah discover about her boyfriend?
Are we going to let material stuff... I can't with you right now. All the magic that we have, you know, nuestro amor, yo te amo, mi amor, you know? You know why now that we're in this conversation? I'm going to say it. I'm going to say it. Will you marry me? What?
Whoa. What? Not the time. OK. I mean, if you're going to get into this conversation, that's how much I love you. Will you marry me, mommy?
Dude. No way.
This is not the right moment. This is awful. You're not even face to face, Ramon. I think Ramon is noticing that there's a whole bunch of other voices on this phone call because Ramon, you actually are on the radio right now on a show called Brooke and Jeffrey in the morning. Yikes. Oh, man. Why am I on the phone? Why am I? She needed help. She needed help.
Okay, I called them so that they could help me with this because I had a feeling you were going to just, like, tell me a bunch of bullshit. Oh. Mommy, but what are you talking about bullshit? I mean, I got you a bag. I mean, you could physically touch it and you really have a bag. Oh, God. Yeah, but you acted like it was real the whole time. You took all the credit. I was, like, proud of it.
Well, it is real. I mean, don't you put things in it? It's a bag.
Like the designer designed it real.
Mamita, you know what? Are you forgetting that you literally just proposed to me?
I don't want to marry you.
