Um I I I I want to be a lot more excited for Max and Kenny. I'm excited because of Max. Not so much because of Kenny.
Well, I I'm I'm gonna say this. I'm excited for Max and Kenny Omega. I'm excited for Will Ospreay and John Moxley. Because I know once we get to Sunday, they're gonna kill it. They always do. AEW pay-per-views are a fantastic. The reason, bully, that you're not as excited as you should be, because they don't get you excited on their weekly television product. But again, once you get to Sunday, all that shit isn't gonna matter.
I honestly believe that Kenny Omega should be thanking Max. And like sending him flowers or doing whatever it is for not for Max not hitting the gas on him on uh Wednesday night 'cause Max could have just verbally tore Kenny to shreds if he represented him.

D dude, I I get it. And I'm not looking to come on the show and bash Kenny, but dear God There's there's nothing that comes out of Kenny's mouth gets me excited for this match. Yes, I understand when the bell rings, it'll be a good wrestling match. But There's there's no piss and vinegar, there's no excitement, it's a very laxical laxadaisical way of or approach at cutting a promo. There's just There there's nothing there. I I I I I I almost wish Max would have just went for his jugular. Like just put him in a corner and just say, Listen, s dude, say something. Do anything. Say something. My God. But let me ask you

I always give you my honest opinion. I know that,
but I uh but I'm just Giving you a little preamble before the question. If if Max decided, you know what? Alright, this I'm not gonna go down, I'm not gonna put it in a different gear to slow down. If he went out there and just eviscerated Kenny Omega on the microphone Wednesday night, which we both agree he could have done, does that help the match at all?
No, Max is being the consummate professional. That's why I said Kenny should thank Max and send him a gift. Max is smart enough to know that he has to Max wants to hit that next gear on the microphone, but he's smart enough to know that he has to downshift just so Kenny can keep up with him on the microphone. And that is a very, very difficult thing to do in the ring. When you know you're good at something and when you can you aspire to be better. And you want to keep moving forward. And progressing, but you know that the guy standing across from you or the gal standing across from you is not nearly as good as you. So you have to back it down a notch because you have to work together. So Max is showing the utmost professionalism.

But what I don't see in Kenny Omega is Kenny like really having any, you know, fire in his eye or, you know, or or in his voice, wanting to really step up to the plate and, you know, have a good verbal sparring battle with Max. Max. It's almost like, well, this is not my forte. Wrestling's my forte. So I'll just get past this segment and I'll have a great match with him at Dynasty.
Well, it's hard to do that when it's in the main event segment on your weekly live programme.
