And one of the big reasons why was the highlight you just heard was Kyle Fletcher retaining that TNT championship against Mark Briscoe in a ladder match, but top to bottom, I really enjoyed collision. This past Saturday from Australia.
Collision was an entertaining show. Uh Fletcher versus Briscoe. Did you think it was gonna be bad? I mean, th these guys are both Very good at what they do. You add the latter uh stipulation. You knew you were gonna get some crash and burn moments. You knew you're gonna get some holy shit moments. Fletcher in his hometown, huge win over Briscoe. I would have liked to have seen Chompa involved with it somehow, some way. I think you could have kept kept the championship on Ciampa, still got to this ladder match and made it a three way match, and had Fletcher win it in his hometown? But Nevertheless, job well done.
I I think we gotta look ahead to Wednesday. And Champa and see what the follow up is gonna be from him after losing that TNT championship last week, Bully. But it's go ahead.
But no matter what your follow up is this Wednesday, you could have just had this Wednesday be your follow up to Ciampa losing. In this match. This should have been a three way tr uh three way ladder match.

I I I'm going to cautiously Put out. My concern for Champa Just because history has told us that in AEW this can happen. So I'm I'm hopefully they don't forget about Ciampa and he has a great follow up. Wednesday, next Saturday, the following Wednesday, and they keep him in the picture. I think Chomp is a great fit in AEW.

And Now what's interesting and and bully you remember this last year at this time I got a lot of shit from my opinion I did on a Thursday with Nick Nemeth where I talked about I didn't think it was the best idea to put Kyle Fletcher with Will Ospreay in Australia because Will Ospreay is your biggest baby face and Kyle Fletcher's gonna get a hero's welcome. And then I got a lot of shit from the AEW fans and even from some AEW wrestlers that came after me. Though the conversation afterwards from Will Ospreay and Kyle Fletcher on the show was that they were a little concerned about how the audience was going to react to Kyle Fletcher. You know, got my back weeks later on the show, but not so much on social media.
It's always good to join. Join in on the fun when people are shitting on somebody, but I digress. Thou It happened though this past weekend. I was I was wrong when it came to that response for Kyle Fletcher and Australia last time out. This time you got the big heroes welcome. Were you surprised or did you know that he was gonna get a pop like he did on Saturday?

I really feel like He could have filled the void of Will Ospreay while he was gone. I I think I might have pulled the trigger on Kyle Fletcher being a baby face. Now he's doing a great job as a heel with Don Callis. But I don't know, there's a part of me that thinks that that once Will Ospreay was out with injury, that Kyle Fletcher kinda could've filled that void in Osprey's absence as a baby face. Your thoughts?
I think that Kyle Fletcher can be whatever he needs to be for AEW. He can be a prick with Don Callis, or he could be a high flying babyface a la will asprey.
