So if the WWE's goal was to get people talking... They achieved that goal because whether they liked it or not, people are talking about SmackDown from Friday night. And we probably haven't had that much conversation about a SmackDown since The Rock confronted Cody after the Royal Rumble before WrestleMania 40.

I had a list of people I thought might be on the other end of Randy Orton's phone call. You threw in some ideas. We discussed. We crossed off names from the list. And we had like three or four names coming out of that show that we are pretty sure one of these three or four names were going to be on the other end of that phone call from Randy Orton. Go ahead.
And every single one of those names that we came up with on our final, final list made sense within the stories the WWE was trying to tell, whether it was in a week, a month, or over the years.
