What's up, everybody? You're listening to Busted Open today with Denise Salcedo, and we've got some pretty exciting news. Joseph Sawyer and Samuel Shaw have arrived to TNA attacking the Hardy Boys. Let's talk about it. This is the Busted Open podcast. We always talk about how shows that are live for TNA, they just, they hit a lot harder. And the big thing that we're going to get into, we got a huge topic for today, and I want to get started right there, is that we officially had an appearance by two former Wyatt Six members. Of course, you guys know him and well them as Joe Casey and Dexter Loomis. But now, of course, they're going by Samuel Shaw and Joseph Sawyer, respectively. And they went out there as the mystery attackers.
They are the people that were attacking the Hardys. And they did not cower after Matt and Jeff called them out there. And they did the whole little glitch effect. And then afterwards, we just saw the attack happening everywhere. It was kind of crazy. And yeah, it ended up being revealed to be both of them there. I've got to tell you, I want to start off by saying I'm really happy for them. I'm really happy for them because we all know that they were unfortunately released by WWE. And whether or not you're a fan of someone, you never want to see anybody get released, lose their jobs, things like that really stink. And so to get to see the Wyatt six or at least two members of the Wyatt six appear today and now going as the six or just six, excuse me.
They now get an opportunity to, you know, do something different. I like the idea that both guys are still working together. Obviously, they've been doing stuff on the indies and whatnot, but on a big stage like TNA, I love the idea of them working together because obviously, Um, there's a lot here. There's a lot to get into. I want to start off by saying that TNA in the past has done very well with these darker characters, these spooky personas. And I feel like now we don't know exactly if they're going to be copy and paste exactly like the way the Wyatt Six were. Obviously, they didn't go out there with the mask and things like that. But I still take it that they're going to take an edgier, grittier route on TNA.

Again, it's not going to be exactly the way it was with Wyatt six, but I do think that there's going to be a lot of similarities. So I do think that that will drastically help them if they ever wanted to do, if they ever had an idea of what more they wanted to do with the Wyatt six, I think they can incorporate some of that into now being six on TNA. So I want to go ahead and get your initial reaction to that Andre, because, uh, This is pretty exciting, what was your initial reaction?
So, when the lights started flashing, you're already in a panic, you're texting me, it's like, oh, who is this, what's going on? And I like to expect the worst, so that no matter what happens, I can be optimistic and just have fun with it. So, immediately, my expectation was like, you know what, the lights are flashing, you know who else does the lights flashing? Darkstate! It could be Darkstate! And luckily for us, we got Joseph Sawyer and Sam Shaw. And that blew my mind because, yes, we saw everything. The news of, oh, they're finally free agents is possible that they can go here, there and everywhere. And I'm so happy now that they're in TNA because. The tag team division in TNA has been something that's been building slowly but surely.
We've had some greats come in. We had real-life brothers in both the Hardys and the Nemets really hold this thing together. And now to have these two come in and infuse a more dark, hardcore, and honestly sadistic style of wrestling, that's what TNA needs, especially now in October.
