I'm very happy to be chatting to you. We've got lots of really interesting stuff to talk about as well today as we catch up with what's going on in the world of entertainment. And I suppose we should start with the Emmys. The I feel like they crept up on me. I I'm always surprised by the Emmys for some reason, but they happened last night, and um obviously there's like a different kind of branches of the Emmys now. There's You know, daytime TV Emmys, there's like the pro the official the f more formal kind of fancy Emmys, which is what happened last night. So what are the big headlines from last night, Esther?

So yeah, it was hosted last night by Law and Order S VU star Mariska Hargate, and she was the first woman to host in 15 years. Um yeah, there was lots of like little, you know, cameos that we'll talk about. Well, Taylor Swift was did a little cameo, kind of a little insert. Um, Megan Stalt Staltler dressed up as an Emmy Award, an Emmy statue on the blue carpet. Of course, that's kind of her thing now. She was nominated for Best Comedy Supporting Actress. Um and she told I I mean she told it to several reporters. She told the reporters she just her and nostalgia just threw it together that morning. And then one of the reporters was like, Really? She was like Yeah. Yeah. So it's kind of funny. But um so yeah, there was lots of little, you know, video inserts and stuff.

my parents. When I was a kid, my parents just absolutely loved crime shows, right? Fine. Like no problem. They watched all the law and orders. They watched it with my little sister, who was like seven or eight at the time. And they one of the shows they watched was SVU. Which is special victims unit, which means it's all about crimes of a sexual nature.
