But um I always thought actually from the beginning when I heard she was writing a book, I thought it was a very good idea for her. Yeah. Because it was a giant thing that happened on a random night. Yeah. Um So Nikita Hand was a hairdresser and she was at her Christmas party back in twenty eighteen. She had gone out to some sort of a event that the the bosses had booked a table for them at, and they had gone back to a pub and then ended up back in the uh salon. Yep.
The party continued until it sort of wheedled down to just two of them. Yeah. Her and her friend Danielle were there. They didn't want the party to end, although it was early in the morning. Um and she has said in the book that they were taking cocaine during the evening.

He had commented on her when she was dressed up to go out. Um, but by the time she sort of makes that contact with him, asking him is there a party on? She's gone from say six six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock the following morning. Yeah. Drinking throughout the night.
Yeah. So clearly I suppose you know, alcohol that everybody look telling anybody anything they don't know. But if people have what's called, I suppose, an overdose of alcohol, yeah, they tend to fall unconscious. I mean that that's the symptom of it. Um the body kind of effectively shuts down. But people taking coke that that'll keep them drinking much longer. Yeah. So they can physic because it's the stimulant, because it gets the neuro chemicals in your brain going, you stay awake and you stay functioning.
Yeah.
However, it's the the toxic level of alcohol in your system doesn't disappear just 'cause you're taking cocaine. And so that can obviously lead people to be drinking f far too much than their body can in any way handle.
