No, I think the response after the second half where the boys just held onto the ball, gone into the right areas of the field, and we set early. We were able to play the footy that we wanted to play. So I'm really proud of the boys' efforts around that, which helped us off a surge in that second half.
Yeah, I thought we were pretty passive defensively in the first sort of 10 or 15 minutes, but really good beyond that. We started to get time and tackle and a lot more line speed, so that was positive. I thought we were excellent after half-time and probably disappointing in that last sort of 25 minutes where we were just loose. We just needed a... be a little bit more accurate I guess everything that had happened we'd expected we knew first half they'll be full of energy and they'll fill the field and it'll be harder to break down but second half as you saw there's a lot of them down we're able to play at a tempo that they struggle with and so disappointing that we didn't ram that home in the last sort of 20 odd minutes so yeah so it's a pass mark but we'll need to be better next week
We witnessed history here tonight, all of us witnessed history, and I'd just like to know how you're both feeling about it. We just spoke with Will Jordan. It's an incredible record with a list of names of All Black superstars that he's now surpassed. So, Artie, maybe if you'd like to talk about that.
Yeah, man, special players do special things, I guess. Joe, every time he puts on the black jersey, he's been outstanding. And tonight he was again, breaking records. Just more impressed of the impact he has around our group and his leadership and just his rugby IQ and setting up our teams. He's been awesome. And today's an extra bonus that he dotted down three times.

Yeah, I've only been here for 10% of his tries. I've seen some from the coach's box in the opposition. He's got an unbelievable anticipation and then genuine gas to get himself in positions to take passes, off line breaks and so on. Yeah, Ari talked about his rugby. He's smart, really understands the game well. I've been really impressed with him. He's leading our tamahi tuatahi group, which is our counter-attack, turnover attack type of things, and first act, which is all the quick taps, and he's having a massive impact in that area too. So, yeah, fantastic. He's 50 and 56 tests. It's just phenomenal.
Dave, you were able to introduce two new All Blacks tonight, and Josh and Anton, as promised, gave them a good run. What did you see from those two young men, and how did you think they managed what was obviously a challenging and nerve-wracking night for them?
I thought they were both excellent. I mean, Josh has got similar qualities to Will, his anticipation, his ability to get into position, to take a pass and give a pass, to create an opportunity for someone else. Yeah, he's just a really smart footy player. I thought he was excellent for us. And then Anton, he got what we expected. Carries hard, he cleans hard, he's post-tackle presence. So exciting for those guys. They got a little bit more time than anticipated probably. Anton got 40 and Josh probably got 50-odd.
How did the All Blacks change defensively after the first 15 minutes?
So I thought they both acquitted themselves really well.
Can you just speak to how the first two weeks, obviously last week against the French and now this, the challenges you were presented and I guess digging your way out of it, how this positions you going into what could be seen as a bit of a statement type of a test against Ireland at that ground where you have that wonderful record?
Yeah, like I said, I think we need to be better against Ireland than we were tonight. But it was nice having an extra seven days to prepare for this one and get a little bit of repetition.
