We remember the the the the the turnaround they made last season and they have carried it on, Jim.
They have and I mean they they had a pretty good window, didn't they? I they added some quality, they didn't lose players um that were going to be sort of too disastrous for them to not be able to to swallow. And I think um Leeds fans may correct me 'cause they'll watch their team far more closely than I do, but this was surely their best performance under Farker in the Premier League because it wasn't just about the score line, it was the manner of it. Yeah. It was the way they bullied Newcastle and we'll come on to sort of some of the The reasons for that, but they were so good in the duels and they were so good in all those kind of um physical moments. Absolutely the topics. They played like they were mopping up gravy with a Yorkshire at the end of a roast.
It was everything Newcastle did, they just dealt with so so easily, and I think a big a big point in the game um that that has to be acknowledged is Nico Gonzalez going off with a concussion. That meant they had two very young players in the middle, and I think uh you know the kind of the positive spin for Newcastle is that at some point he'll be back and at some point Joe Linton will be back and it will not look like that in the middle, but with this team Lee's just just gobbled them up.
Yeah, it was it was quite it looked like quite an innocuous one with Nico Gonzalez, didn't it, when he he he got that concussion. But it it shows you that i i if it doesn't look that bad, it can still be bad. You know what I mean? It's it it's it's why as fans, sometimes when you you say, Oh, for crying out loud, get up, you know, unless that's Enzo Fernandes, which is perfectly acceptable, sometimes actually some of the bad ones uh it can be can sort of go unnoticed. But yeah, when when when that happened it I still I mean I still felt Lee's United was they were on it last night. They had the bit between their teeth. I don't know. Maybe Farker looking at um looking at the Iceland's thinking, Oh, you've you've had a nice little start to the Premier League, haven't you?
