Good then backs up, then drives forward toward the officer. The Department of Homeland Security says Good was using her vehicle as a weapon and the shooting was justified. Portland, Oregon police say the couple who were shot and wounded yesterday by Customs and Border Patrol have been confirmed as members of a Venezuelan gang by a witness to a shooting in the city last summer. DHS says they were attempting to arrest the couple when the driver attempted to run officers down and the driver and passenger were shot.

President Trump says 30 million barrels of oil given to the U.S. by Venezuela is on its way to the U.S. That's a lot of oil. It's about $4 billion worth. A Georgia lawmaker accused of ripping off taxpayers leaves office. A Georgia statehouse member accused of fraudulently collecting pandemic unemployment benefits announced her retirement effective January 1st. On Monday, prosecutors charged Karen Bennett, a Democrat from Stone Mountain, with making false statements to collect nearly $14,000 in benefits. Bennett, who served in the Georgia Statehouse since 2012, waived indictment, pleaded not guilty, and was released on $10,000 bail. Prosecutors say Bennett falsely claimed she could not work in 2020 despite continuing administrative work for her therapy company while also earning income as a church minister. Carmen Roberts. XAI, the artificial intelligence company started by Elon Musk and the power behind the AI known as Grok, will spend $20 billion building its new data center. To be located in northern Mississippi, Governor Tate Reeves calls it the largest private investment project in Mississippi ever. XAI says the giant plant containing servers and processors will house, as they call it, the world's largest supercomputer.
