What weather events are impacting the Northeast this week?
Here comes old man winter. I'm Daria Albinger, Fox News. Once again, the Northeast is bracing for a major nor'easter. It puts tens of millions of Americans in the path of heavy snow, intense wind, and coastal flooding. Fox meteorologist Adam Klotz says winter storm watches are already in effect in a number of states.
March 2017, that is the last time New York City saw a blizzard warning. We have one out there right now, including much of the New Jersey coast, getting into portions of Connecticut. All areas kind of right along the coast that the weather looks like it could be the worst, but it is going to stretch up and down the I-95 corridor, and it really is kind of an all-day event.
You're already seeing some of that heavy snow from D.C., Philadelphia, running up to New York. This lasts throughout the day on Sunday, Sunday night, and then through a large chunk of Monday as well, Monday morning, and then taking the entire day to clear on out. So this is going to be a fairly long event.
New York City, Philadelphia and Boston could all see up to a foot of snow. Investigators are focused on surveillance video as they sift through tens of thousands of tips in the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie. Fox's Max Gordons in Tucson.
Neighbors here have been told to send in any surveillance footage that looks suspicious from between January 1st through February 2nd, though it's unclear when authorities or if authorities will be releasing any additional footage. Meanwhile, investigators say they aren't ruling out the possibility that multiple people People might have been involved in Nancy Guthrie's disappearance.
This as investigators try to identify the person seen on Nancy Guthrie's doorbell camera. He's described by investigators as being between five, nine and five, ten. And the only article of clothing that law enforcement has positively identified is his Ozark Trail backpack, a product line available at Walmart.
Investigators are currently working to identify other items he was wearing and where he might have purchased them.
It's been almost four weeks since the mother of Today Show co-host Savannah Guthrie was last seen. America's listening to Fox News.
