Then Savannah Guthrie said the family is ready to talk. Now, that video was released just as a phalanx of law enforcement officials descended once again on Nancy Guthrie's home.

Holman credits the newfound cooperation from local counties, which are now turning over jailed illegal immigrants to ICE instead of just releasing them. Meanwhile, President Trump said he approves of the new approach, noting that a softer touch is possible while still being tough.

Of course, Judge Eileen Cannon responded from the bench saying, quote, you intended to kill and you would have achieved your goal without the brave Secret Service agent for Kano. It was clear this was premeditated and a calculated plot to take a human life.
Ruth's attempt was the second on Trump's life in 2024. The other was in Butler, Pennsylvania.
