The nation's governors say they will not, as an organization, attend a White House breakfast this morning. Here's Fox's Grinnell Scott.
The National Governors Association, in a statement to Fox News Audio Thursday, said it could not be part of a meeting, quote, that does not welcome all governors. In a Truth Social post from last week, President Trump said he did not invite two Democratic governors to the breakfast. Colorado's Jared Polis and Maryland's Wes Moore, the NGA's vice chairman.
The president added he felt they were not worthy of attending. The association's statement said it could not be part of a White House meeting that excludes. The president is still expected to meet with some governors at the White House. Grinnell Scott, Fox News.
Investigators appear to be at a standstill on the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie from her Tucson, Arizona home. Fox's Jonathan Hunt has the latest from Tucson.
