Chapter 1: Was the shooting death of a woman by immigration agents justified?
Was it self-defense? I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. Depends who you ask about this.
No! No! Shit! Shit!
That's from the video of the shooting death of a woman who's a citizen shot by immigration agents during a protest against an operation in Minneapolis.
He used his training to save his own life and that of his colleagues.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says it's a case of domestic terror. The woman shot and killed Renee Good was obstructing agents, she says.
She refused to obey their commands. She then proceeded to weaponize her vehicle and she attempted to run a law enforcement officer over.
But there are different angles and different videos and different viewpoints about the self-defense argument. Having seen the video of myself, I want to tell everybody directly, that is bulls**t. So Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry is telling ICE to get the bleep out of his city. And the anti-immigration enforcement protests continued into the night.
And critics here and people who live in Minneapolis are saying that they didn't really know if that was such a good response from the mayor of the city when so much happened here during the George Floyd riots and in 2020 when the city parts of it literally burned down. Also, the governor, who we know is at the center of a massive fraud scandal here that we've been covering, did talk about this.
He says they've had enough of what he didn't say was really much federal help.
