Chapter 1: What recent events have impacted TSA funding and airport security?
It's up to the House now. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. After this happened around 2 o'clock this morning. All in favor say aye. Aye. The Senate approving a funding bill by unanimous consent for most of Homeland Security, but not immigration enforcement. So Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer says... Senate Democrats stood united. No wavering.
But Republican Senator Tim Scott tells Fox the president's plan to pay TSA agents by executive order led to this.
Without President Trump saying, I'm going it alone, I'm going to take care of America without the help of a single Democrat, they got scared.
Chapter 2: How is the U.S. handling the ongoing conflict with Iran?
They were shaking in their boots. But Fox's Chad Perger reports from the Capitol. Well, no one really won last night, and typically no one wins government shutdowns. Democrats, they did not get some of the ICE reforms that they asked for. Republicans did not get full DHS funding in this. ICE is left out, and Border Patrol is as well.
As for the House trying to fast-track a vote today... What they could do to expedite the procedure is do something called suspension of the rules. The problem there is they raise the bar. That needs two-thirds.
But until TSA agents finally get paid, some keep not showing up. So there are more long airport security lines this morning. I've been in line for about 45 minutes with no end in sight. He's trying to catch a flight in Atlanta. This is terrible what they're doing to the American traveler, but it's even worse what they're doing to the TSA worker.
It's day 28 of Operation Epic Fury, but as President Trump extends his deadline to April 6th for Iran to unblock oil shipping of the U.S.-Obama-Iran's power plants, he keeps insisting Iran wants to make a deal to end the conflict.
Iran has denied in public channels that their surviving leadership reached out for talks. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghshi addressed the U.N. Human Rights Council from Geneva and said the U.S. has acted in bad faith.
This war of aggression is blatantly unjustified and brutal.

Well, as the conflict with Iran rages, oil prices are up another 2% this morning, and gas remains almost a dollar a gallon more than when this conflict started last month. And falling stock futures suggest more selling at the opening bell on Wall Street. And a lot of Americans in a new Fox News poll are wary.
Only 25% of poll respondents say the U.S. economy is excellent.
or good that's five percent fewer than a month ago a majority of those polled 61 say they believe they can miss no more than two paychecks before not being able to pay their bills when asked to look ahead only a quarter of voters say they believe the economy will get better in a year's time while 53 believe it will get worse 21 say economic conditions will be the same a year from now

Chapter 4: What changes are being made to U.S. currency under President Trump?
Traditionally, U.S. paper money carries the signature of the Treasury Secretary, not the president. Treasury Secretary Scott Besson's signature would also appear on the currency. Besson says there is no more powerful way to recognize the historic achievements of our great country than with a dollar bill bearing Trump's name. This is the latest instance of Trump putting his name on U.S.
institutions like the Trump Kennedy Center, the U.S. Institute of Peace, and the new class of warships. Tom Rigotti, Fox News.
