Whatever's keeping you up at night is easy to feel like you have to figure it out all on your own. But the truth is no one has all the answers. And no journey should be alone. Having someone with you to listen, to understand and to support you can make all the difference. May is Mental Health Awareness Month. And I'm going to be doing a lot of content focused on mental health. But if you're struggling with mental health, now is the time to check in with a therapist and make sure that you can get unstuck from those overwhelmed, anxious or unsure feelings that we all have from time to time. If it's any time to start therapy, this month is the time. With over 30,000 therapists, BetterHelp is the world's largest online therapy platform, having served over 6 million people globally, and it works with an average rating of 4.9 out of 5.

If you are struggling at the moment, I really recommend you get therapy straight away. Because once you start talking to someone, you can only get better from there on out. Thank you. So let's begin now. so tonight, we want to allow ourselves to pause, let this be the pause, not the end of the story, just the moment between pages, where everything can soften, where the weight of everything can just melt into the bed beneath you, and your nervous system can finally relax and exhale itself as you breathe deeply in and then relax and exhale and you already begin to feel more relaxed more ready to accept healing energy into your body
Christopher Fitton 4:43
and you melt more into the comfortable bed, and if your eyes are open still, just allow them to gently close on the next out breath, as you breathe in, and relax out, and if they're already closed, just imagine the feeling of them getting softer heavier with all the little muscles around your eyes just softening and letting go your whole face softening your forehead soothing and smoothing your jaw relaxing your shoulders dropping, and you just feel a little bit more deeply relaxed, and as you listen, you might find your breath becoming slower and deeper, and that's just happening all on its own, you don't have to think about it, you don't have to change it, you don't really have to actively think about anything, my voice may come in and out, but your subconscious takes over, you're just aware of relaxing more, as you begin to shift inward,
Christopher Fitton 6:40
as your body prepares to heal prepares to relax deeply as it prepares to regenerate and the more you regenerate the more you relax and the more you relax the more you regenerate and you might just notice your breath as you breathe in, feeling the air, it's so cool as it enters your body, and perhaps warm as it leaves it, this is all part of the gentle movement of your body, the soft rise and fall as you fall asleep and you want to make sure that your belly is gently moving up and down you don't want your shoulders moving up and down because that is a sign of stressful shallow breathing
