There can be a feeling of nervousness. This is totally natural. And an experience we have all found. And the aim of this recording is to reduce this nervousness as much as possible.
Christopher Fitton 1:01
You'll realise that this is a shared experience. And the recording will help you relax and help you realise why you have these feelings. This recording can also be used by students who have been at school for a while now. And maybe perhaps are a little bit nervous about going to school the next day. I also have a similar episode of For people who are a little bit nervous. About the upcoming week. and the work week ahead. It's called Feel Good About the Upcoming Week. Don't stay up tonight. Worrying about tomorrow. I'll leave a link. In the show notes. This recording's for people over eighteen in higher education. When I mention school in this recording, I'm talking about higher education as a catch hole. And let's begin.
Christopher Fitton 2:00
In a state of self meditation. You're not asleep. All unconscious. You're aware of your surroundings. You can't be forced to do anything that's against your will. Don't worry about outside sounds and distractions. Because you're soon able to relax completely. You can use the outside sounds. To deepen your trance. You're always in control. And can accept or reject. Suggestions Azie Way. Allow yourself to absorb the suggestions. Without evaluating or analysing. Don't worry if your mind drifts off. Because you'll still gain the benefits. From the suggestions. When you find yourself focused on other thoughts, Gently remind yourself.

How does the breathing exercise help calm nervousness before school?

Christopher Fitton 2:58
To focus on my voice. And the suggestions. Don't worry about getting it or doing it right. Just allow yourself to feel comfortable. And relax. In the safe. Place where you are listening. to this recording. Now take a deep breath in. And exhale. And if your eyes aren't closed already. Please close them on the exhale. As you take a deep breath in again. And R and I. Dropping your shoulders. And intense in all the tight muscles in your body. Now imagine a court. Attached to the base of your spine. Travelling all the way. To the centre of the earth. Really anchor that cord now into the center of the earth, wrapping the ends around anything solid you find. Another call to expand to a size. That's comfortable for you. And now release any stress.
Christopher Fitton 4:20
Tension, anxiety or negativity down that cord. You can release any unfinished projects. Any people who may want your attention. Acknowledge any faults. That may come into your mind. And for now. Release them down your grounding coal. Take another deep breath. Hold the breath for a couple of seconds. And exhale through your mouth with a sigh. Relaxing even deeper. with that relaxation feeling flowing into your body as you inhale. And all the negativity disappears. As you exhale You can disappear. Through your breathing. Or we can disappear down this grounding coal. You feel so tranquil so So calm and so relaxed. and with your third deep breath once more fitting your lungs. With teeth. Oxygen. And you hold the breath.
Christopher Fitton 5:43
And you exhale. Allowing that remaining stress. and tension to flow out of your body.

What visualization is used to ground and release tension from the body?

Christopher Fitton 5:53
It's not necessary to hear any outside sounds. Or anyone else's voice. Now you can enjoy the comfort of drifting into a deep state of relaxation. If you really need to, you can wake up. But otherwise this time is for you now. Just for you for all that tension. To relax and detense. Out of your muscles. For all that stress to flow out of you. and to feel calm and soothed from your head To your feet. This is the most important process. For you to be doing now.
