a listener production. Cheers, babes.
Sean Brown 0:30
Welcome to this week's Radio Replay.
Nikki Westcott 0:33
Radio Replay. Oh, replay. Sean, you're going to have to tell us what's going to be in this episode.
Sean Brown 0:38
Well, it's just all the best bits of the radio, guys. So we love our job here on the radio because we get to kind of talk about really crazy things.
Nikki Westcott 0:47
Oh, bless you, girl. Oh, bless you, baby.
Sean Brown 0:50
Was that Billy?
Nikki Westcott 0:51
No, that was me. Billy does sneeze a lot, though. You're right, Shawnee. He's a very sneezy little man.
Sean Brown 0:56
Babe, do you know what you could have done then? You could have used your cough button on the radio. So fun fact for you guys at home, we have little microphone stands in front of us and there's a button that's for when you're coughing specifically. And I tend to believe that sneezing also could align with that button.
Nikki Westcott 1:13
I don't know if anyone ever actually used that button. Shawnee, do you?
Lucy Jackson 1:16
What? Sorry. I was just grabbing the sheet of what's on the podcast.
Sean Brown 1:19
Remember when I was nearly losing my voice when we filled in on that break?
Lucy Jackson 1:22
I used it. No, I've never used it. Never used it before. Suckers.
Nikki Westcott 1:26
I wonder when they were designing these microphones, they thought, I'm going to put a special button for coughing.
Lucy Jackson 1:31
Specifically. Yeah. Well, it's quite common, you know, using your voice that much. I'll tell you what is happening on the podcast. We've got Tough Day in the Office. Is that right? Sexy Bye Bye.
Unknown 1:42
I'm sorry. No. No, no, no. I just wrote, I was taking notes of the chat.
Sean Brown 1:46
Oh, okay. I know where this is going. So let's just get straight into it.
Unknown 1:50
This is Lucy and Nikki. Lucy and Nikki asking the question, am I the a-hole?
Sean Brown 1:57
All right, guys, I've got a goodie today for you. Am I the a-hole for driving off after a minor car accident? Ooh, I need to know the details of that. Here we go. Now the shopping centre has posted CCTV footage trying to identify the driver. One of my friends has recognised my car and says I need to come forward. Some friends think it was just a minor accident and people are overreacting. Others think leaving the scene automatically makes me the bad guy. Am I the a-hole for driving away after a minor scrape? That is like my worst fear.
Nikki Westcott 2:48
You need to come forward now.
Sean Brown 2:50
Yeah, you've been exposed, Alan.
Nikki Westcott 2:52
Because if you don't and they can like match your number plate or whatever or even like figure out who you are. You're going to make, it's going to make you look so bad online and like a, oh, I always weirdly feel a bit sorry for, which I shouldn't.
Sean Brown 3:07
The young girls that rob joints?
Yes. Wow.
Nikki Westcott 3:10
So you know like when it'll be like the corner store and they'll have like those cameras in there and then they'll put a big photo up and be like, this person stole three lip glosses from our pharmacy or whatever. I know, but honestly.
Sean Brown 3:23
I'm like, oh no, poor girl. I know what you mean because they always do look very innocent. But also I'm also shocked that these young girls are thieves.
Nikki Westcott 3:30
Oh, babe, I definitely dabbled in a bit of klepto when I was 15. I'm not proud of it.
Sean Brown 3:34
You're probably in some stores in Canada with your big face behind the frame. Literally. Find this woman. Back to the car scrape. I must admit, I've done this.
Nikki Westcott 3:48
You're not quite the citizen that people, what is an upstanding citizen that people think?
Sean Brown 3:53
And I'm just like mortified because like talking about this just made me think of it. So basically in my instance, I reversed, I was parallel reverse, parallel parking. My tow bar hit like someone's number plate. It was like you could see a tiny little ding in the number plate, but I was like, honestly, you're only going to notice if the sun glistens on it in a certain way. I'm just going to leave. I'm already late for wherever I'm going on my trot.
Nikki Westcott 4:16
Okay, you keep telling yourself that, sis. No, I know. I'm really trying to validate it.
Sean Brown 4:20
I've done it too. But thinking of if CCTV footage got posted, I would be so embarrassed, so mortified.
Nikki Westcott 4:28
Did I tell you guys recently that I had a girl just run straight in the side of my car and I just said, don't even stress, babe. Get out of here.
Sean Brown 4:34
Oh, what?
Nikki Westcott 4:35
Yeah. Gosh, I'm so nice. Really?
