G'day and welcome to Kenti Blitz, your daily hit of NRL news and we're back with another big week. Kenti, how was your weekend? Oh, very quiet but some good footy being played so it was good to watch actually. We churned out a bit of content last week with Primetime coming back. Yeah, Primetime was back. Manly Cowboys, who all lost on the weekend. So they've just all got a little bit closer to each other with what we've got seven rounds to go. So it's going to be really... intense, I think, particularly next month as they continue to sort each other out. Mathematically possible, that's still a wide field at the moment. It goes all the way down to the Tigers, to be fair. So I'm going to lay in 15th position. They were disappointing on the weekend. But there were some really, really good performances. I thought the Dolphins... were really strong the way they came back after. Like, how do you try and get a read on how they're going? Beating 66-0 one week and then had a really good win against the Cowboys.
I thought the Cowboys were a chance. They started well. They just couldn't go on with it. Raiders, they started to resemble their old selves a little bit, which was good to see. South's a bit of a fall from them. Manly have been disappointing. Fosball, I'll tell you what. Nothing like rugby league, mate, to make you take a reality check. And where Manly are at at the moment, clearly the honeymoon's over now. And we've really just got to see what Kieran, we will see what Kieran Foreman's made of now as a coach. He had a bit of a dream run there early, but he's lost about three in a row now, I think it is. And obviously lost Tom Travojevic over the weekend. He's gone for scans today, so we'll know more later about what's happening with him and how long he might be out.
Huge loss for Manley with Turbo. Yeah, I'm just really disappointed for Turbo, to be fair. This is his ninth hamstring tear in the past seven seasons. He's done five on one leg, four on the other. So it's not like there's an imbalance there somehow that's causing this, certainly from left to right. But I was only speaking last week how good he looked the previous week. He was fluid in his running style. He looked really good. And then it looked so innocuous. Dropped ball. He sort of twisted it a little bit and laid on the ground. At first, everyone thought it was a disappointment dropping the ball. But instead, he knew what it was. It was a torn hamstring. He walked straight off, indicated to the trainers he needed them or that he was no good to continue.
Walked off the field, straight up the dressing room, He reminds me of those really good race horses that just can't get going. Every time they start to put a race or two together, they break down with something different. What do they do to them in general? Well, I think Tom's, I think he's what you'd call an entire. So they'd send them off to studs. He'd get off the breed, yep. Yeah, so look, he won't do that, but obviously he... It's heartbreaking of a career that could have been had.
