uh where there's been a a small penalty paid there by uh Victor Radley. Uh Uh you know, Latrell Mitchell photographed with a white substance, Val Holmes photographed with a white substance. Uh neither of those players was sacked from their clubs. So I don't think Anakar should be sacked. I know some people say, well, there's a line in the sand and all the rest. Yes, I get that. Uh but uh in my older and grumpier state, I uh I see so much more happening in the game. There's never call on. And never brought up and never punished. Uh much of it behind the scenes with uh officialdom and all the rest of it. I just think this is Yeah, I I think it's uh unduly unfair if they if they sack him. There's been a bit of precedence to not sack him.
You know, you look at Reese Walsh uh a couple of years ago. Yeah. Uh you look at uh Munster. Yeah. Uh Brandon Smith. Yeah and Canterbury sacred. Okay. So it is his second. That's the other part that's got to be considered. Uh and Canterby sacked him the first time around. Uh I I do believe though that Canaby were looking to sack him and just it just fell into their lap. So I think it had their reason to sack him had more to do with football than what he'd actually done. They probably will if they hear this. But uh yeah, look It's yeah, these sorts of s uh issues, Warren, I find are generally uh they're very personal to people's opinions and people will have Wildly different uh views on on how this should be treated than what I am.
Uh some will agree with what I what I've just said. Uh but That's just that's the s the game at the moment. Uh and like I said, I just yeah, uh uh in the in the list of offences that are injuring rugby league right now, uh this is well down the list. It's interesting, isn't it? Because you look at AFL, which is another the other major code uh in Australia and they have a three strike policy. Well look the yeah, the difference here was the police got in. Of course. So the police made it public. Uh so that's the difference there. It wasn't a drug test there. But look aga again, look it's It's a t it's a tough one to have an a uh sort of a a an argument or a debate about because there's right on both sides and there's wrong on both sides.
a a binary argument. There's no it's not you're a hundred percent right or a hundred percent wrong. I know it's illegal. Uh I I know you can r run that argument, it's illegal, he shouldn't be allowed.
