And came over to Rugby League from the Wallabies with so much potential.

They turned up training one night and they kicked off. They did a set of six off the kickoff and Alan Jones just looked at it. He went, you cannot improve on perfection. That's it.

It later came out that the three guys that beat him had tested at different stages of their careers through drugs. So, yeah, I'm very sad, mate. Condolences to Brian Smith's family and obviously the rugby league, the wider community, those guys who played with him as well who are feeling it today.
