Like it was yeah, you get your hot dog and it'd get wrapped in bacon and the all these different sort of cheeses and peppers and all sorts of stuff you can have on it. Oh, it was pretty it was pretty special, mate. Very good. Yeah, good days. I I went to a Super Bowl too. I know you've been to a Super Bowl. I've been to a Super Bowl as well, which Which one?
Uh I went to the one uh I I I think it was I don't know what w what number it was. It was between the Packers and the Steelers at the uh Dallas in Dallas. So the new stadium. All the old state. And it it was it had not long opened and it was mind blowing. But uh it's uh I will say this. State of origin is a much better spectacle than a Superbowl. The season watch. Oh, by my old mate. I'm talking pure terms of the game. Because the Super Bowl, what people don't realize is you sit there and they actually go to breaks just for television ads. And you're sitting there sort of just really doing nothing. At least the one I was at, they've got the the Dallas Stadiums with the biggest scoreboard uh in the world. And so they would would play the
ads or they show stuff up on there so you can watch something. But just out of nowhere, you gotta sit there and the players, you you literally see the players. Get get down and start doing some stretches and warm ups to try and keep at to keep going. I keep warm for the game because the breaks are so long. So anyway, I I I would take an origin game over NFL every day of the week. I've been to two Super Bowls. I went to the one uh in New Orleans where the lights went off. That was Oh yeah. That was uh the forty niners and they played Baltimore. Baltimore won that. Yeah. Um that was um Uh Colin Kaepernick was the the quarterback then. Remember he and he got into trouble for kneeling during the uh the anthems.
That's the one where the the the Ravens had that really good defensive team, didn't they? They just bashed everybody. And the lights went off for half an hour during the game. And then the other one I went to was uh they had Princeton uh at half-time purple rain. It was raining. Raining and it was all purple lights lit up the frame. That was amazing. Yeah, that would have been I I've seen that on YouTube. You have a look at that. The rain comes down and so the purple lights, the rain picks up the purple lights. That's pretty special. That was in Miami. I I somehow I ended up staying at the same hotel as the uh the Bears. They played the Bears. Somehow. Well no, it was cheap. But you're not gonna be able to get it.
Listen you are us. I uh I I tell you what, mate, yeah if you can find a star Mate, if you hear someone's in a hotel you're on there, oh give me a break. Anyway, look out for us tonight down in Melbourne. Uh if you see us, Candy said he'll buy you a beer if you mention you. I don't know if we've got any fans down in Melbourne, do we? Probably not.
