We rent a lot of things, but now something wants to rent us? Okay, this is a wild story.
It's all over the internet and social media. And I want you to know exactly what's going on. So you're right, there's a new site called rentahuman.ai. And this is a place where AI bots post jobs for humans to complete in the physical world. Things that an AI bot cannot do, like hold a sign, pick up a package, eat pasta. I wish I was making this up. And so far, about 70,000 people have signed up. The payment is all in crypto. And the tagline is robots need your body. And they call it the meat space layer for AI. Yes, somebody actually typed those words.
And this is coming from AI, not some open AI or some company that owns it.
No, this is also another strange part. The whole thing was built by a cryptocurrency programmer who openly admits that he let AI write most of the code without really checking it. And so when people report bugs, he said, Claude is trying to fix it right now. Now, Claude is an AI chatbot, not a guy. So basically, we have AI building websites so that other AI bots can hire humans. My head hurts.
So this, I don't know what to call it, but this fascination with robots or machines taking over is coming true to a certain extent.
What should you look for when buying a new big screen TV?
It's actually kind of frightening, isn't it? That we have AI bots, AI agents that get to a point where they say, you know what, I can't do this. And now they know that they can go to a site and hire a human to do something that they cannot physically do. It's so bizarre to me.
