They've come up with a scam that, according to the FBI, is so convincing almost anyone buying or building a new home or renovating one is likely to fall for it. Here's how to avoid it. In this new scam, online criminals impersonate city and county planning officials with a phishing campaign designed to trick you into paying for fake permit fees.
Criminals tap into publicly available local records of zoning and building applications and get the details of your project. Only then do they strike. The email looks exactly as if it came from your local planning commission office. There is, of course, a link to pay for the fake permits. Do not click the link. Check first with your local offices to verify.

Because especially when you're looking at these policies and they're like pages and pages and pages, right? Oh boy, who wants to read all that if you could even understand most of it, right? All right. So what you do is you have the two PDFs. What I like to do is keep them right on my desktop because it makes it easy for you to find them.
And so you fire up ChatGPT and then there's a right where you will type in the prompt is that there's a plus sign. And so you tap or click that. And then one of the options will say upload a file. so have two you have the two different files and then what i will do what i would do is i would say to chat gpt i want you to be an insurance expert okay
I want you to compare these two policies, highlight the differences in coverage, costs, exclusions, any type of special clauses, things like that. And then you can also say, compare the sections, dwelling, personal property, deductibles, writers. You see where I'm going with all this, right?

Right.
Yes, I do. And then tell me the pros and cons of each one, which you could also do. What I like to say is give me a comparison table because that gives you just the snapshots. So you're going to get all this. It's going to give you the table. And then you could also say, which one do you think would be the best one for me? And this is my situation.
