Good morning. Welcome back. Uh, thank you so much. Happy to be back in the office. A wonderful weekend down in Anaheim with Greg. All things BlizzCon. And you know I want to just rattle it all off at you, bless. Do we have do you have a venue where you're talking about that? Yeah. Uh on today's Greg Way, myself and Greg will talk about all things BlizzCon, our experience, the fun, the merch store, and of course the big announcements that I'm excited about.
Of course you guys did a games cast down there that people can check out that went up over the weekend. What was your give me your top two favorite things that happened over the weekend?
StarCraft open world shooter. Yeah?
Yeah?
Yeah, okay. I mean 2030 is a really far away time. It's not a real year. But the idea of StarCraft coming back into our lives, the idea that it's not an RTS, right? Like I love RTSs, but I don't think a lot of people do. So the idea of like being able to jump into an open world shooter, somehow create that with StarCraft is gonna be really, really dope. Your imagination run wild on what it could be. Is it a Destiny looter shooter? Is it an open world like a Far Cry or uh, you know, any one of these other Rainbow Six Wild Lake? You leave it driven by a park high. Dreadfire Far Cry guy, right? Yeah. Yeah. Um hey, yeah, yeah. And so. And so we'll see how it goes. How much fun is that? Also, what are the other groups in there?
Right? We saw the Zerg. Maybe there's gonna be more. Hey. You know what I mean? So I'm very excited to check it all out. That one's uh a high on my list. What's the other one? Just the people smiling, the cosplay. The enjoyment of BlizzCon. The information. Like BlizzCon is a a really special place. And as someone who loves and appreciate all things, Blizzard Entertainment and those games, being swept up in like the worlds and the community, that was really special to me. Oh yeah.

Um I want to bring to the stage the one and only Greg Miller, who has experience with IGN because we're talking about the IGN layoffs that happened. Me and you, Mike, of course, we came up as fans of IGN. Greg Miller actually worked at IGN and knows Brian Altano personally. I know we all know Brian Altano, but Greg has more of a history with it, so he can speak to it with more authority and when um more about IGN in terms of somebody who's actually been there.
