He's a well-respected Latin king in in in the city of Chicago, uh uh, you know, a big timer basically. And he was spending money in the music. music business. So we were trying to, we we were the Latino MCs in Chicago and we were like, yo, this guy's putting money into Latino MCs. We need to go holla at Cato. But then Cato was gone. He was murdered. And after he was murdered, you know, down the line, Val was Valerie was still doing the music stuff.
They had plugged uh plugged entertainment, which is Jay's wife. And Jay was in on that. Um, so we were kind of a degree of separation away at that point, you know, in the in the early 2000s, 2005 through like eight, you know, when everything went down for them. Um, but as far as them and in in, you know, they were known. You'd hear about them, you'd hear about them through the circles or whatever. And then when it all went down, the disappointment came, like, yo. This the guys that brought down El Chapo are are are But that's
right, that's what I'm talking about. I'm saying like these are two twins. I'm talking about

to what we're talking about, Jay has gotten on my channel and while I'm having this conversation about these these these cartel um leaders, he said, Man, my father's got with my mother when she was twelve. You know, and he was a cart their father was a cartel guy. So the the Flores twins, two guys from Little Village. Little Village is a uh a section on the south side of Chicago, uh a predominantly Mexican section of the south side of Chicago, um, its own community amongst itself. Um, a lot of gang movement and stuff in there. Um, and they were basically Bred into the business. You know, their father got them. He got out of prison when they were seven years old and got them into the game. Um, I think now some people would scream that's that's a form of child abuse in itself.
Uh they were they were uh in the car with him, running running a bud across the border. And you know, they were twins. Twins were a fairly, you know, a fairly uh novelty thing back then. And they were able to, you know, smooth the the guard. And oh, we're just a couple of kids taking a ride with our dad type shit, and they were in the business. And uh You know, s small guys in stature, uh, very smart guys, um, in a family of hustlers, everybody in the community knew who they were, knew who that family was, knew where they were getting their work from. Their brother, their older brother was a Latin king, a predominant Latin king in the community. Um, so he was known as well. So it was kind of of an easy
Um it was a recipe for them to be who they became, you know. Um And as time went on, they they went through their father came out of prison, got them in the game, they went to Mexico to stay with their father. And at some point, their older brother got arrested and locked up. They moved back with him and he got arrested and locked up. They're 18, 19 years old. Uh the Brothers Connect comes along and says, you know So I got some work. You guys know the business. Can I get this work off? And they flip thirty kilos in a night. Thirty kilos in a night. That's their first their first deal. In a day. And call them back and run another thirty. That's a good lick. That's a hell of a lick. But they were on they were off and running, you know?
