So when I first came to IONS, I was still kind of in the closet, if you will. And I was just ecstatic to learn that I was going to be able to blend my research background with my personal background and be able to learn more about channeling. And what I didn't know, because I was so kind of secretive, if you will, about this part of my personal life, that there was a whole field called parapsychology that had been studying it for over 100 years. So my mind was blown, and I spent the first I don't know how many months just diving into the literature trying to catch up. And what I saw was that there were many studies looking at trans-channeling, but there was no kind of concerted research program, if you will.
So when I came to ions, building on what ions did and what others had done, I developed the ions channeling research program, which was really focused on important research questions. So how common is channeling?
