Uh obviously very excited, you know, to get it done. I I love being here. Um, you know, hopefully this will allow me to, you know, hopefully finish my career here and uh you know, I've put so much into this place and I believe in what we're doing, I believe in the people we have and um, you know, I wanna see it through and have us get over the hump.

Yeah, for sure. I mean everybody wants you know, it's It's an uncertain league and any kind of level of certainty that you can get, um, you know, that that really helps players and now you can just go play free, you know. Not that you couldn't play free before, but um it's it's not about me.

Yeah, that's a good question. I think the first thing that comes to mind is you're never out of it. You know. There was a time last season when we were, you know It was it wasn't going well and you look and you get to the end of the season, you're like, Man, we were a half game away. You know how many plays w that were out there that were half game away from winning the division or going to the playoffs? Like You're never out of it, you know. Good series, good quarter, bad series, bad quarter, bad game, bad stretch of games. Everything matters and the margins are so thin that like you can never take your foot off the gas and never lose sight of the mission for even a second because it all matters.
You know, it's it's fascinating to me. I've been in this market since eighty six, eighty seven, and I'd say in the last twenty years especially, it's maybe ten. uh maybe even a little bit longer. This is a town from a football pro football standpoint that I think is interested in the offensive line. And, you know, a lot of times it's quarterbacks, it's the skill positions, whatever. But part of the reason I think people are interested here is There they've been going if you go back twenty years, there were ups, there were downs, there were struggles, there was a feeling we gotta get more because we know whoever we have at quarterback It's part of the story. Whoever we have at the position, even if we don't love him, we can get more out of him if he's got a good offensive line in front of him, right?
I mean, the idea that the two go together, we everybody knows, but I think in this town, you guys get more conversation as a group from the average Rube than a lot of places because of that.
Yeah, maybe. I mean I think that's uh you know, you want people to care and you want people to appreciate when you do a good job and uh you know, honestly you want people to care and be upset when you don't do a good job because that means it's important to them.
