It came off a Jared Allen missed free throw. in the Cavs-Pistons games, and we had a debate on Twitter, and in our NoDunk Slack channel, who gets credit for Wedgie52?
Is it Jalen Tyson there on the Cavs, or is it Cade Cunningham with the Pistons? Look, you can make a case for either guy. And at first, Wedgie Tracker said Tyson. But we put the poll up, and the people said Cade. So, Wedgie Tracker changed it. He said, we're going with the people. So Cade officially gets credit for that wedgie. But it's a real half sack situation. In the NFL. In my mind. Right? Oh, okay. I thought you were talking like a John Kruk sort of half sack situation. No. Or a Manu Ginobili. No, no, no. Half sack where like two guys take down the quarterback and they're like, half for you, half for me. Half for you, half for me. Yeah, so I guess we could do that with wedgies if we really wanted to. That's funny with free throw wedgies.
I will always remember it as a free throw wedgie. I won't care about the rebound part of it. Remember when we celebrated 50 wedgies when we were with the starters, the 16-17 season? We got Shaq in there doing his thing. We all think about it as a Marcus Smart free throw wedgie. But really... It was a rebound. It was a putback rebound. Yeah, exactly. That's a good point.
