Because there's a lot of men out there that can't see that women can be better than them. Like an ego thing? It's like an ego thing, yeah. So I think we live in this society where people always go to the worst and never expect the best.
So I do think some guys are very intimidated if your partner makes more money than you or If there's females, they make more money than males because it's a man's world, isn't it?

It is interesting because whenever there is like a successful female, people are always really quick to be like, oh, it's daddy's money or something like this and whatever it might be in some cases. But it's like, why always assume that? Why not assume that they just did that themselves?
Yeah. I feel like it depends obviously on the person. Like, I feel like if you're a very secure man and you're very confident in yourself, I would agree with what you said, Ben, where you're like, well, no, why would they feel intimidated?
Yeah. Maybe I just haven't thought about what other people, but I was just like, I'm surrounded by two very fierce women. So I was just doing some self-preservation just then.
Chapter 6: Is love alone enough to sustain a relationship?

But I feel like you're confident in yourself, right? Like you're self-assured, so why would you be? But I feel like sometimes men who are not so self-assured probably are.

Yeah, I don't know. I really feel like it depends on the coupling, but I think like typically men would, I'm thinking like chasing or like really liking someone and they're kind of like, you know, not courting them. That sounds very old school, but you know what I mean? Like they're kind of like making an effort and then it grows over time.
And I feel like with women, like you said, not that men aren't emotionally intelligent, but like we're thinking about different perspectives, not just that we're attracted to someone. Yeah. We probably think about that more and that might take more time.
