May know more about the Oilers prospects than anybody else I know out there. Our prospect report is brought to you three times a week by Reface Magic. Not just refacing, now offering custom complete kitchens. And it's been an interesting week. The Oilers lose their leading score down in Bakersfield. Quinn Hudson, he's going to play again tonight. And they were the third highest scoring team in the American Hockey League before he got recalled and they got shut out last night 4-0 by Ontario, which to this point in the season appears to be a bad matchup for Bakersfield. So maybe let's start with Quinn Hudson. Are you surprised that he's gotten a recall this quickly?
Oh, for sure. I mean, so that's a relative for sure. Relative from this summer, 100%. Anybody who could have predicted Quinn Hudson would be tied for third in goals and lead the team at 28 points and all of the rookie scoring points. you know, I'd like to meet that person because they'd be a great prognosticator. From getting the recall from, say, after four weeks into the season when it was pretty clear that this player was going to outperform expectations early on, at least early expectations, maybe not so much. And then, of course, you know, you have some injury issues with the Oilers, maybe a little bit of bottom six scoring issues. So, You know, surprised from the summer, less surprised from the fall, but still a great story.

All right. So there was some criticism in his deployment. as to where he's slotted in a play. Now, I do want to mention, in the third period against Pittsburgh, I think he did get a couple shifts with Connor McDavid. Part of that was as a result of Curtis Lazar. That was a scary, scary situation.
How do we not call penalties on that stuff? I just don't even understand that. But anyways, that's another topic.
Right. I'm with you. But saying that, you know... I think that what's, you know, put it this way, it would not surprise me, Bruce, if by Tuesday the Oilers have Jack Roslevic back in the lineup, Tuesday at the latest. And here's where I mentioned to you that Jack Roslevic, oh, by the way, was the Oilers player of the month in November. Like, he actually won the Molson three stars of the month in November. I don't think any of us envisioned him. You know, he's not going to be on the first unit power play now that Zach Hyman's back, but when he gets back in the lineup, he's going to help the team as well. So I don't know what that's going to mean for Quinn Hudson, but what has it meant for Baker? I know you watched them last night.
