Chapter 1: What are the latest updates on Irish players in the January transfer window?
It's really enjoyable, really fun.
That game was unbelievable.
What is the point here?
It was right off the tongue.
They needed a vibes man.
Now that he's hopped on the magical plane across the England.
Okay, outside the box, we are back on OTB on OTB. Myself, Matthew Brennan in the hot seat today for the first time on this show. We've done one week each so far. So we're rounding it out here with me today.

Chapter 2: How does Gavin Bazunu's move to Stoke City impact his career?
Joined by Ben Symes, as you can see on your screen. Matthew. And David Wilson, who you can also see on your screen.
All right, lads.
We come with some big news. Before we get into a slightly different episode today, we're going to be going into the transfer market. We've all got our yellow ties on underneath our hoodies as we head towards deadline day a couple of weeks to go. But some big news. The League of Ireland and off the ball, we're staying. We're together once again, as we were last season.
Chapter 3: Where will Andrew Moran end up after his MLS experience?
But... It's bigger and better than ever. 33 live games on radio commentary on off the ball over the course of the next season. We've got the FAI Cup, the Women's FAI Cup as well. Big news, lads.
Yeah, delighted. It's a new trio deal. Basically, we'll have pretty much commentary every week. Then we'll have reporters at games as well. I'm delighted.
Chapter 4: Which Irish players need a transfer to secure a spot in the March squad?
Can't wait to get back on the grounds again. And it's great to have the Cup involved as well. I had the pleasure of doing both Cup finals for off the ball last year.
two tremendous occasions with Athlone Sean McGrath was coming out on top so really really looking forward to doing it bigger and better any promotion of the league on a media national media scale is brilliant and I think we we did some good covers last year and looking forward to make it even better this year
Yeah, let's make it. Let's go bigger and better again. Well, I also have the LOI pod back each week in your podcast feeds and your OCD football podcast feeds for free every week with Stephen Doyle, Vinnie Perth, Garrett McGlynn. The trio is back. And yeah, like looking forward to tuning in every single Friday night.
and kind of following the league which is like this time of the year I find is kind of really exciting you're kind of going through different transfer rumours as we'll get on to shortly who's going to end up where what are League of Ireland clubs paying out big money which it looks like it could be happening over the next few weeks which is also a positive sign for the league but no it's going to be absolutely fantastic back on your radios back on the GoLad app from yeah in a few weeks time yeah February the 6th the champion Shamrock Rovers will take on Dundalk
Chapter 5: Should Johnny Kenny stay at Celtic or seek a new club?
which is a personal favourite of mine. Like, that is one of my favourite games. And I'm delighted Dundalk are back in the league. Not just because they're maybe my closest League of Ireland team to home, but Dundalk, Shamrock Rovers is always a big game. And I'm looking forward to Dundalk going up to Tala Stadium and testing the champions on the first night of the season.
Absolutely and that is absolutely huge news and we don't want to kind of undersell that and we'd love to spend a lot more time talking about it but unfortunately we don't have all the time in the world so busy men and I suppose you'll be able to hear more about that on all of our shows across the next couple of days as well I'm sure and across your socials as well but
We're going to run through some transfers today. Our Irish guys, centre round the national team, some not centre round the national team. We're going to run through some done deals, some rumours and then we've also combined a list each. We've got five players.
Chapter 6: Is Scottish football a good environment for Irish player development?
that we think should get a move in January or maybe that need a move or could do a move if they want to get themselves involved in their own Hamer-Halgrenson squad come March. Now, our list of done deals and rumours. We'll go through a few of the done deals first. If either of you want to jump in at any point here,
and give a bit of a rating give your thoughts on them there's not been any huge names here a lot of them are down the leagues I suppose but first up Ronan Curtis is a scary permanent move from Port Vale to Plymouth we won't spend too much time on League 1 and League 2 we did pick up 3 assists on his debut last night for them Obviously had been in and around the squads in the past.
Ryan Graydon, a former League of Ireland man. This is an interesting little move here. He obviously was at Derry. He's gone from Fleetwood to the class of 92, Salford City, for a fee in the region of five or six hundred grand, which is quite a lot for that level.
Chapter 7: What are the implications of the League of Ireland's new partnership with Off The Ball?
Yeah, I read five hundred grand, which is huge money for that level. For a man who, like, fair play to Ryan Graydon when he went over first, didn't really know where the ceiling would be.
but he's proved his worth at Fleetwood Fleetwood have had a massive Irish contingent as well the last couple of years I've seen John Walters involved there a little bit too he is involved there and I'm not sure if he is anymore but he definitely was obviously the link with Waterford as well we've seen a lot of players go over it's great to see someone make the next step and I hope he bags a couple of quid out of that £500,000 I'm sure he will I'm sure he will and the thing is too his contract was up in the summer so he would have had suitors up the league so it's a bit of a statement from Salford they're chasing promotion now
yeah it just goes to show you how much money is in the English game it's crazy league one league two national league level and that's where like you know clubs here in the league of Ireland have to try and compete with which is quite difficult when you're shelling out 500 grand like that on a player but when you're backed by Peter Lim and whoever else is involved at Salford and the class of 92 they're still involved are they?
kind of yeah so I'm sure we'll see that in their Sky documentary at the end absolutely it'll be featuring big time there Luke Brown as well a talented little player was at Crystal Palace was the captain in their under 21 team he's dropped all the way down to League 2 himself and he's at Notts County
We've seen some Irish contingent over there in the past as well, some League of Ireland guys going over and playing there, so that'll be an interesting one to follow.
Will Jarvis is there, yeah. North County Dublin native, Luke Brown. He is, yeah.
So very best of luck to him, we'll be keeping an eye on him over the next couple of months.

Chapter 8: How can Irish players navigate their careers during the transfer window?
Another one now, this one is a little bit more in the senior team picture, maybe not quite yet, but potentially in the future. Teo Adoramola's had his loan cut short.
at Leighton Orient he's gone back to Crystal Palace didn't really work out for him there had a couple of loans in the past that hadn't really worked out either but had a good one at Bradford last year when they got promoted and made that step up to Leighton Orient where we've got quite a lot of Irish contingent but didn't really work out for him there so it'll be interesting to see I imagine there'll be another move for him in January go somewhere else he'd like to think
a lot of hype around him a few years ago and in a position like on the left left wing back left winger left back that Ireland are probably a little bit short and so I think from the senior team's perspective if Adarimola can continue can develop in a positive way hopefully and get another decent loan somewhere then that'd be great for kind of competition levels on the left side of for Ireland yeah
Yeah, I'll run through a couple more very quickly. Adam Murphy's loan's been cut short as well. He was at Ian Holloway Swindon, got back to Bristol City. A bit of an injury there and the loan spaces were tied up for them. So he's going to be back there. He's going to be back at Bristol City and he'll be back from injury early February, I think.
So maybe there might be someone taking punt on him towards the end of the window. Big one for League of Ireland, obviously, as we've been talking about. Harry Vaughan joining Bose from Hull. We've seen a couple of Hull guys do quite well in League of Ireland. So that could be a big one for them. Only there until the summer initially.
so we'll see how that one works out Corey O'Keefe is back at Barnsley after being at Stockport played against Liverpool the other night excellent the other night and they hadn't had the best time at Stockport actually either who are a side who are playing better than Barnsley so it'd be a good addition I suppose back into their squad after being quite good for them last season Owen O'Connell as well reinforcements at Barnsley for Conor Howard and again coming in from Wrexham who obviously climbed up the leagues Ian Lawler Doncaster to Crewe on a permanent deal as well so that's our done deals outside of one
Captain Bizzuno, of course, has signed for Stoke City. I'd like to get your immediate thoughts on that, both of you.
Immediate reaction, great to get out of Sampton. Like, exactly what Bizzuno needed to get out of that club. And not even just in the sense that it hasn't worked out the way he wanted it. Obviously, we've had injuries in there and stuff has kind of thrown into the mix. But some of the, like, vitriol from the fans that I've seen online towards him...
I feel sometimes once it goes past a certain point in terms of fan opinion towards you, it's very, very tough to get it back no matter what you do. And I've seen Bazuna make some unbelievable saves. Be it I'm not watching Stampton every week, I've seen clips of him making some unbelievable saves. And it feels like even in that, they're hesitant to give him his props when he does well.
