I said this was a historic loss. This was the first time in 50 years that Manchester United have gone 2-0 up at Old Trafford and went on to lose the game. 1976 was the last time that happened and I believe, Bobby, that was actually Spurs that overturned that result as well. in that period, having gone 2-0 up. They go 2-0 up last night, and then they're just an absolute shambles.
Yeah, I felt there were probably a bit of a shambles even before the two goals. The two goals come, even at that you think Brighton were still on top, and then those two goals kind of paper over the cracks for a small amount of time until Brighton went and eventually won the game. Brighton should have won that game more comfortably than what they did. But, yeah, the same frailties at United, the two centre-backs, Diego Dalot right back, Carol Darlow in goals, were they ever going to concede, were they ever going to, you know, stop, you know, not concede a minimum of three goals? They'll do that anyway, regardless of who's playing. Yeah, well, not on Sunday, but... I don't know, like Lenny Yarrow and Aidan Haven.
Aidan Haven came into the team under Amorim in a back three and actually looked like he could be a really good defender. And then Lenny Yarrow has obviously come in for a big price tag and it just hasn't worked out for him really at all. So, yeah, I feel... I don't know where the blame lies in this one. I don't know if it lies with Michael Carrick.

I think we can get carried away talking about it a little bit because Brighton are a decent football team. That has to be said and they were a much better team yesterday and I don't think it should be that shocking that Brighton could beat Man United in a football game at this point. They've done it plenty of times over the last few years. I don't know what it is. The tactics didn't seem to be suited to that game, but there's a lot of individuals you could point to in that performance. I like Aidan Heaven. I think he's actually a pretty good footballer and he's shown flashes of being very good on the ball and a decent defender. Jesus Christ, for a couple of those goals, he was shocking. For Gross' goal, he's over on one side of the box, kind of giving out to the rest of the defence for not passing the ball, but he leaves a 30-yard gap open for Gross to walk into.
