Chapter 1: How did the weather impact Super Bowl XLVIII?
If you smell what The Rock is cooking.
Hour 2 Overdrive continues, powered by FanDuel, live from the FanDuel set, San Francisco, California, Super Bowl Sunday, right around the corner. Final hour here in San Fran, it's a little bit bittersweet. Gotta be honest, Luke Wilson joining us, what's happening? Super Bowl champ, Luke Wilson.
Brought the ring out today, baby, but the winner and the loser, but we're out today, we're a business. Well, I didn't know this, but you get a ring for an NFC championship.
So when we won the first year, comes this big thing, it's like we had a private party, Usher was singing at it, Paul Allen set it up at one of his, it's kind of a museum, it was called the Experienced Music Project back in the day, I think they call it Mopop. Really cool night.
next year is like showed up one day like what's in my locker from tiffany and company it's the mini one for the nfc championship okay but no usher no party for that one yeah yeah yeah no party yeah you're not getting that well listen they look good man yeah look good i mean we're locked in right now we gotta we gotta go and we've had we've had extensive meetings yes talked about it we're ready to roll you guys feel like you're ready now you don't know exactly what's coming right because we haven't made picks in a couple of weeks but the same routine is going to remain consistent here
We get to pick if we're either doing the spread or the total. Yes. And then we get to pick which prop we want. We're doing a quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end, and then an extra prop that is basically a yes or no prop. Yeah.

Chapter 2: What was Luke Willson's experience during Super Bowl week in San Francisco?
Anthem length, heads or tails, all that kind of stuff.
And our partner, Al's brother, was extremely dialed in this morning.
Yes, he was. A lot of tremendous information.
They were also picking Teddy Bruschi's brain yesterday.
Wow. We're at. They got a ringer in, huh?
We had dinner with Teddy Bruschi last night. I don't know what else to say. Teddy Bruschi hates their guts, too, now.
No. They've already just got it. Al Roker and Teddy Bruschi.
Yeah.

Chapter 3: What are the Super Bowl predictions from the hosts?
This guy's been blacklisted from both.
Just tell me one thing. I know you guys had Devin Hester on before. Tell me he doesn't hate your guts.
No, I think we made a very good impression on him.
He wouldn't remember, but in 2016, we needed a spark going into the playoffs, so we signed him in Seattle. I think it was the last season he played. And I think he played two, maybe three games for us. I remember being like, I was on our kickoff return team, and I'm like, yo, Devin Hester's here? The GOAT.
And he, against, it was the year Atlanta blew the Super Bowl, but we went to Atlanta in the divisional round, and it was like, yo, we've got Devin Hester. He can break what I think he had. He never scored, but he had two or three 50-plus kickoff returns. I'm like, this guy is a machine, dude. The best.

Chapter 4: What insights does Neville Gallimore provide about NFL team dynamics?
The greatest of all time. Not even close. Not even close. Again, he was only there for three, four weeks, but it was like, for me, one of those moments where I'm like, I played with Devin Esser.
That's pretty cool. Dude, gorgeous Hall of Fame jacket. Yeah. Gorgeous. I would never take that off. Every night for dinner, I would just go somewhere with that.
I think gold is a really quality choice.
Yeah. It's a statement.
It's a statement. It's a statement.

Chapter 5: How does Gallimore feel about the relationship between offensive and defensive players?
Yeah. Gorgeous.
We're talking... Pro Football Hall of Fame. Yeah. Right? But, yeah, he was great, man. We had a blast with him. He took one to the house on the first kick of the Super Bowl. I remember being a kid watching that. Yeah.
It was in my basement. Peyton Manning versus Brian Urlacher, I believe. That's right.
That's when Peyton got one.
Chapter 6: What is the training culture like in an NFL gym?
Yeah. In Indianapolis. Wow. The weather got ugly in that game. And we were asking him about that because when the kickoff, it was clear. That was in Miami, I believe it was. But this Sunday, it's unpredictable. When you get an open-air stadium, it might rain, it might be windy, it might be cold. It's not going to be like yours in New York. When you beat Denver, it was cold.
It was cold, but what I don't know about that was we were sitting there thinking, hey, it could be a blizzard, it could be this, it could be that. It was like game day came, and it actually was quite nice. I mean, the adrenaline's going, but I remember being like, wow, it's a lovely evening in New York.
And then the next morning, I think there was like a blizzard that came through and delayed all the flights. Has it gone to a cold place since then?
Chapter 7: What are the best bets for Super Bowl XLVIII?
No, because I think since New York, the rumors I had heard was like, it would have been so detrimental to the product if we have a cold weather Super Bowl. They don't want, as much as the Denver-New England game was kind of fun for a football fan, They don't want high-flying quarterbacks in a 13-7 game because of a blizzard. And if a blizzard hits, it changes everything.
You've got the opportunity to put it anywhere. Why would you put it in a cold-weather climate?
Totally. It's all because you built the new stadium. That's what we were talking about last week. There's basically 32 guys who run the league. There are. There's 32 guys who run the league. And if... you know, the Mara family or the Tisch family, and I don't think he's getting much. He's not doing much right now.
Chapter 8: What are the final thoughts on the Super Bowl match-up?
He's lying very low right now. He's probably in a different world right now. But if they say, hey, we're building a new stadium in conjunction with the Jets, too. And they said, we want a Super Bowl. They're getting a Super Bowl, and they got one. Indianapolis got one because they built Lucas Oil. And Detroit got one because they built Ford Field.
They're not going back there, but you build the field. If it's a dome in Detroit, Indianapolis will come the one time. I think they're building a new one in Nashville for the Titans, and I think they're going to go there. They'll have one there for sure. But they're not going to Buffalo because it's not a dome. Buffalo's maybe not a big enough market, but...
It'd be interesting if they built a dome stadium, would they have a Super Bowl in Buffalo?
Yeah. I don't know. Yeah, I also think Buffalo's a bit of a hard sell city-wise. Right. Hotels, convention centers. You've got to really... I mean, you guys are seeing it here. And... This is probably the slowest Super Bowl I've been to, not because I don't think there's people here, but just because it's so spread out. Seattle's staying in San Jose. The game's in Santa Clara.
A lot of the corporate stuff's in San Francisco. Vegas, a couple years ago, it was like 30 minutes to get an Uber. I've never seen so many people in one area ever in my life. There's a crazy amount of influx that your city needs to be able to support.
I couldn't get an Uber last night. I had to ride one of those scooters home. No way. You were riding a scooter home? 1.30 in the morning. I was white knuckling it. I had one of those bird scooters. I had the bird scooter.
Have you done the Waymos, the robot cars?
I've not done those, yeah.
You're not doing them? Not doing it. I'm a people person.
