Chapter 2: What are the key highlights from the Thursday Night Football game?
Then they lost the division to the Bills. Then they lost in the cold to Kansas City. Then everything just has gone south since. I think it got so cold in Kansas City that it completely ruined the team. Yeah. They still haven't warmed up. They have long hypothermia. Mm-hmm.
Okay, so the other thing we've got to talk about before we get – so we taped the picks and preview in Baldy earlier in the day, so we're going to get out of our costumes and we'll be back in our costumes for Fyre Fest. But the World Series has been incredible, and the Toronto Blue Jays, okay, Blue Jays, let's play ball. What a story. They, after the 18-inning game, they win Game 4.
They win Game 5, which was a pivotal Game 5, as Magic Johnson pointed out to us on Twitter. Trey, you savage. Unbelievable. I, like, I don't think we're, because, you know, it's a lot about Vladdy, rightfully so. It's a lot about Shohei, rightfully so. This fucking dude was in college baseball last year. He's pitched this season. He has pitched in all five levels of baseball.
He made three plus starts in all five levels. He started the season in single A. Then he went to high A Vancouver Canadiens, double A New Hampshire Fishercats, triple A Buffalo Bisons. Now on the Blue Jays, he got called up in September. He's now pitching pivotal games, game five, 12 strikeouts. It's insane. This guy is insane. And he's making like 20 cents. It's absolutely nuts.
He was lights out. He made Shohei Otani swing his own helmet off at the plate. He was like embarrassing dudes out there, embarrassing Shohei Otani.
at the plate it was awesome to watch i was very happy for the guy and then uh the way that the blue jays started the game though yeah it was incredible jumped on him jumped on him first pitch ding dong davis schneider this guy is so fucking weird i love him he is uh his name is even like it should be david it should be david schneider yeah it's davis schneider yeah
And this guy, he is the Frank Caliendo of Major League Baseball players. He imitates other players' batting stances. I think he goes through like 30 different batting stances over the course of a year. And so like two games back-to-back, he'll switch it up. Last night they asked him who he was imitating with his batting stance.
He said, I'm imitating tonight actually my own batting stance from when I played Minor League Baseball. Great. The dude just switches it up all the time. And the whole time he's doing it, he looks like he should be a cop on Reno 911. Yeah, he looked awesome. He should be in a buddy cop movie. I thought he looked like that dude. He's the goofy one. He fires the gun and hits his own dick.
He looked like that dude from Sicario. The guy that was just sitting in the shotgun seat. That guy's a fucking killer. Dude, Sicario is such a good movie. It's the best. And the second one was really good, too. I didn't see this yet. Oh, you should. I heard it was bad. Oh, I loved it. Okay, I'll check it out. No, you should see it.

Chapter 3: What insights are shared about the upcoming NFL Week 9 games?
Okay. Now we're going to have to watch an ad. Yep. Ad right in your face.
Okay, here we go.
Alana is not a prostitute. She's a friend, and it makes me sick how people are saying this. So unfortunately... I have no other choice. I'm the last one to take legal action. I can't put up with it anymore. So I've named the names. Litigation will be starting shortly. I've had enough. That's why I warned you guys yesterday, be careful what you wrote. Okay, so that's all I have to say for now.
And the next thing I want to call Mayor Britannia in Hamilton. and tell them that we're going to have to spank their little tiger cats. Oh, and the last thing was Olivia Gondek. It says that I wanted to eat her pussy, Olivia Gondek. I've never said that in my life tour. I would never do that. I'm happily married. I've got more than enough to eat at home.
I love that how before he says that, he looked down at a note. Yeah, he talked shit about a football game coming up. And then he looked down at his notes. Oh, yeah, and one last thing. The note was like, talk about Olivia's pussy. Yeah. I never said that. And then the reporters being like, what about the drunk driving? Okay, so do it for Rob Ford. Yeah. Okay, let's get out of our costume.
We do our weekend preview. We have Baldy, and then we'll finish with Fyre Fest. Okay, before we get to the weekend preview, DraftKings NFL fans, what's your favorite touchdown? There's over 100 years of TDs to pick from. For me, it's the next one because with DraftKings Sportsbook, an official sports betting partner of the NFL, every touchdown could bring you closer to cashing in.
DraftKings Sportsbook delivers the unmatched intensity of the NFL right to your fingertips from first touchdown score to anytime TD props or the thrill of live in-game betting. Every snap is loaded with opportunity. We're going to have our TD parlay later on in the weekend preview. So get ready for that. I feel like we got to hit. Are we all doing it? Who's out? I don't think we hit last week.
You guys run it back. I got enough.
There's one guy from last week that I am locked in on, and he's a guy that we picked last week. And can I just say my leg? Yeah, say it. Tyler Warren this week. Okay. It's got to be Tyler Warren. Is he an afternoon game? That's a great question. He might be an early game. Did not look into that. There was people who were saying they were mad that we didn't pick Kittle.

Chapter 4: What are the key takeaways from the Colts' performance this season?
I'm so glad that football is back in new England. Yeah. Like that was, that was a tough couple of years.
It really was.
It said rebuilding his heart.
Yeah.
Yeah, it is. It looks like mentally it's like, I don't, it's, you don't even want to watch football. Right. It takes that. You don't even watch football. Exactly. You associate. But then when you're good, it's like there's nothing more exciting than Sunday. Yeah. Now you love all football. Yeah. You're backing on football. Well, you got to see.
It's like, are we going to play this team in the playoffs? Are we going to play this team in the Super Bowl? Yeah. Where are we at? That's how you're watching these games. You're going for six straight right now. Do you know how many winning streaks of six games or more the Patriots have had this millennium since the year 2000? I would guess six or more. Nine.
Nine.
You've had 15 of those winning streaks. Oh, yeah, because I guess there's probably years where they had six, lost, and then went six again. Yeah. So this would be your 16th. I was thinking one year, but there's definitely been probably multiple times within that they've had six in the same season. This would be your 16th winning streak. They also had a 23 in there. Yeah. That's awesome.
Yeah, it is. I'm so happy for you. Thank you. Yeah. Are you feeling better about your Super Bowl bet? Yeah, way better. How many more years did you have on that? Two more years, yeah. This year and next year, right? Yeah. We did some trades this year. We got a lot of room.

Chapter 5: How are the Chiefs adapting to their current season challenges?
I think we're going to make a move before the deadline. Things are looking up. What move would you like to see? I don't know. I think Vrabel's going to go defense. The moves we made were defensive, and we got rid of some defensive contracts. Vrabel's a defensive coach. So my gut tells me he's going to go defense, and I trust Vrabel. I'm not smart enough to be a GM. In Vrabel, you trust.
But in Vrabel, we trust. Okay, next game, Giants-Niners. Niners are minus 2.5, over-unders 48.5. Hoo-hoo. That's your dog? Woof-woof. I kind of like that one. That's a hungry dog alarm? Yeah. I like that. Hoof-woof. Hoof-woof. It's also the New York Giants wearing the throwback uniforms. Love it. That's got to be worth three points. Love it. Love it.
I read an article that Cam Scadabo has just been wheeling around the Giants facility after having surgery earlier this week. He's definitely going to try to play with one leg. They're going to have to keep him out. You know that he's not someone who can be like, all right, I guess I'm not going to be here. Oh, wait, those are the throwbacks? Don't love it. I heard that they don't love it.
I thought you were saying throwbacks from the 80s.
I don't think this is it.
I heard that they were going to wear the Giants ones that say Giants on the helmet. Yes, those are the helmets they should always wear. Yeah. Those are nice. Come on, Matt. I mean, I just searched Giants uniform. I don't even know if this is true. Giants throwback. You don't think they're even doing it? No, I'm telling you, it's the Giants with the Giants on the side. It's the good ones.
I love those helmets. Those helmets are awesome. They should never wear another helmet.

Chapter 6: What are the predictions for the upcoming games and player performances?
That helmet is going to be at midfield. Fuck yes.
Yeah, it's going to rock.
It's this one. Yeah, it's this one. Yeah, with Camp Scataboo, I am not surprised at all at the fact that he's treating it like it's Mario Kart. He's probably got three balloons tied to the back of it. He's just running into people. Yeah. He's like, hey, coach, can I at least go practice squad with my scooter? Yeah. I need to do it. Any fallout, Max, from Hank basically besmirching Big Dom?
Before Max speaks, because I was thinking about this actually in the shower. Oh, you were thinking about Big Dom while naked. Yeah, it hit me. No, I was thinking about Max. Oh, you were thinking about Max while naked. This is based off of a subtle chirp I made off camera because I know this podcast. I know we have relationships.
I know, but I'm saying, like, I would not jeopardize relationships on this podcast. I made a joke internally. Max then brought it to the podcast publicly and forced me to say what I said. I would have never said that publicly. But we're not going to jeopardize because we... PFT, myself, and Max, we love Big Dom with all of our hearts. So there's no like, yeah, could you be wearing cement shoes?
Fine. I don't care. Also, that was never public? No. What was the original comment?
up for show oh but that was like i i could have swore that you said that on this show no we were i think it was on grit week i don't know where it was it might it was either great week or the super bowl it might have been the super it might have been in your sleep that you said it no but i just know that it like hit me i was like i don't know why max like made this public like obviously once he did i'm not gonna back down but i also was not trying to like
I could have swore that that was a public take that you had.
So really, it's Max's fault. Yes, it's Max's fault. Max screwed Max. Yeah, Max, it sounds like it's your fault for making Hank say his thoughts.

Chapter 7: What insights does Baldy share about Caleb Williams and the Bears' offense?
It was like it was over. So now, and then you had, you know, you had the rookie Smith, even with minus two offensive linemen the other night. I mean, they're still waiting. I don't know what's going on with the left tackle, you know, but I've never seen Trey Smith miss a game. But even with that, it didn't make any difference.
And so, honestly, this offense could be as good as it's ever been right now.
Yeah. Can you talk me off the ledge with Caleb Williams and my Bears? Because it seems to happen every single week where I watch the game on Sunday and I'm like, ooh, that didn't look great. And then on Monday, all the film guys are like, actually, it wasn't as bad as you saw. Where is the truth here and what does he have to do to get better and take that next step forward?
Well, I mean, you don't want to see him throw an interception from his end zone. That was bad. Nate Wiggins, that's the one. You probably jumped off the couch with that one. Yep. And then you say to yourself, oh, well, that Nate Wiggins did run a 4-2-8-40, and you saw the speed. I mean, I thought he had Rome open a little bit. He could have thrown it a little bit more out front, but I don't know.
I mean, Wiggins was right where he needed to be. That play killed him. He looks a lot better under center in play-action passes, to any of those receivers than he does when he's in shotgun and he's just trying to play the quick game. They seem to struggle with that. They don't make nearly as many big plays.
I mean, that was a field goal game at that point in the fourth quarter, and they just couldn't make the play, and Baltimore made the plays. I mean, fourth and two. They hit Duke on the outside and they kept the drive alive. I mean, they were in the game right to the end. And then that throw really killed them.

Chapter 8: How do the Cowboys' offensive struggles impact their Super Bowl chances?
So, you know, they had a nice little win streak together. I'm not down on Caleb. He just seems like he misses receivers that he shouldn't miss.
Yeah, yeah.
That's the problem.
Right. It's like to me, it's it's not that I think he's playing so bad that it's like, you know, people saying benching or anything like that. It's more his feel for the game just has to go up a little bit where it's like, you know, going out of bounds when you're supposed to go out of bounds, not the intentional grounding penalties, just feeling a little bit more under control in the offense.
That's what I want to see.
Yeah. He had two intentional grabs. I know. Those are sacks. But, like, look, I mean, Kyle Hamilton comes – that's protection up front. Kyle Hamilton comes free one time. Roquan comes free another time. And, you know, he's not – he's barely getting the ball, and here comes somebody right at him.
And then you look at the protection, you're like, they've got to be better up front, you know, just seeing these blitzes that were coming at him. And then, you know, I mean, Caleb's just going to react, and he's going to try to make something – Special happened. He did it late in the fourth quarter. He threw some crazy pass to, you know, DJ Moore, like, off his back foot, getting blasted.
And, you know, 40 yards later, like, they're down in scoring position at the three-yard line. They still couldn't score a touchdown at that point, if you remember that part of it. But, you know, there's just too many – But he just misses layups sometimes. It's one thing if you, okay, Nate Wiggins picks him. You can't live with it.
I mean, it's a hard, you know, he's not throwing a ton of interceptions, but that one hurt him. But I just feel like he's still missing balls where it's bouncing in the dirt or sailing over somebody's head. And you go, why? Like, is it a fundamental? Is it a mechanic? Like, what is it? And it just shows up week in, week out.
