Welcome to part of my take presented by DraftKings. The crown is yours. Today is Friday, January 9th, and the U. It's all about the U. Miami Hurricanes are back. Instant classic in the desert. It was... What a game. I mean, it was basically... First of all, credit to Ole Miss because they went all the way to the semifinal with their head coach leaving. Gutsy effort.
Trinidad Chambliss is awesome. He is just such a fun player to watch. But Miami. They look like for a while there, like they were going to suffer one of the most painful losses in the fact that they were dominating that game. They had like double the plays. They dropped every interception possible. Every big play seemed to go Ole Miss' way. But Carson Beck, I doubted you.
And I'm sorry because what Carson Beck did on that final drive and credit to Mario Cristobal as well because I feel like a lot of teams in that situation play for that field goal and kind of say, hey, let's not take a risk. Let's not pass the ball over the middle. They went and they scored the touchdown and they won the game and it was awesome.
Yeah, the final drive was great for Miami. Great. They were the better team all around. Yep. Ole Miss had the best player on the field in Trinidad. And that dude, I don't know what the draft experts are saying about him. Malachi Toney is also.
Malachi Toney also very good.

Chapter 4: What are the implications of the Patriots' playoff performance?
Let's go.
Heavy on the Patriots. It doesn't matter. I might take the alternate line.
Okay.
I might move it all the way up to, I think, double digits. It's fair. 10-point win. Get to feeling good, right? Like we're back.
Yeah. Where are you at with Shane right now? I mean, Shane are good. I mean, I'm just kind of ignoring him. He's being a little bit of a pest, but... Oh, what was he doing? He's just annoying, won't stop talking, chirping me, saying messed up things. But it's all love in the game. Yeah, Hank, I... All is fair in battle, layoff battles.
I walked past you the other day, and you physically assaulted Shane in front of me. What do you mean?

Chapter 5: How do the Chargers and Patriots match up for Wild Card Weekend?
You slammed your back into him. That seems dramatic. What side are you on? Shane, well, I don't want you to give us any bad juju for our Patriots. I would never. Listen, Hank, honestly, I've got something I've been meaning to tell you about this. It's sad how nervous and how much mental and emotional energy you're putting into a wildcard game. We're the fucking Patriots. I don't follow.
We're the fucking Patriots, dude.
Chapter 6: What is Steve Young's perspective on the current NFL quarterbacks?
Yeah, I agree. We haven't been back in a few years, though. We got to get it started. If we were really the Patriots, we'd have a bye. I know. That's a good point. This is a failure of a season almost. No, not quite. But it's like, yeah, I'm not used to being in the wild card because we usually have the bye. So it's like, yeah, we got to focus up. We're going up against a ball club.
And you know that the NFL.
You are going up against a ball club. You know the league's going to try to fuck us, too.
Yeah.
And you got to be worried about that.
This is a primetime off because the Patriots are 4-0 in primetime games this season. The Chargers are 5-0 in primetime games this season. Something's got to give. How are you feeling?

Chapter 7: What personal anecdotes does Steve Young share about his career?
I'm going to bet the Chargers plus 3.5. I do think this is... If the Chargers can block for Justin Herbert, which the Patriots' defensive line isn't their number one elite skill group. It's Drake May and the offense. And the Chargers' defense is good. I think this is a field goal game. I really do.
I'm kind of like Max. I feel a little bit uncomfortable with how comfortable I feel going into this game. Like, I'm very confident. And PFT flipping his hat makes me even more confident.
Yeah. You're fucking right, dude. I don't know where any of the nervousness would be coming from. Because you wouldn't be going after Shane if you weren't a little bit nervous. I'm not going after him at all.
Do you respect the Chargers? Yes.
Nah.
What about the Chargers defense? You know, the Chargers defense is the only defense in the NFL this year with more interceptions than pass TDs allowed. They had 19 interceptions and only 16 pass TDs allowed.
Their defense is really good, but I would rather be going up against a great defense with a great offense than having to go up against a fantastic offense with an okay defense, if that makes sense. I think our great offense can offset any great defense.
But this is the hardest defense you will play this year.
Right, so it's going to be a good test. I think we still have the advantage defensively. And Justin Herbert in the playoffs.
