And so uh three talkers, and the first one is at the heart of the quarterback situation. So I've been going back and forth on this one because there's the reports out there that are, you know, credible from at least credible. People that there's gonna be a quarterback competition, right? We're told that there's gonna be a competition. And we've been sort of sussing out what does that mean exactly. Um Here's one thought. Do you think well, one, I mean the Vikings are trying to tell us no no matter what we see that we're not seeing what we're seeing, or we shouldn't think what we think, we should think what they're trying to tell us.
But how much do you think this uh also comes down to the Vikings uh probably will play JJ McCarthy a lot in the preseason? He will get some first team reps. I don't think he'll get a ton. How much do you think, though, that at the end of the day this is about trying to Help him gain as much value as quickly as possible. So if Kyler Murray does play well in training camp and the and uh going into the season is solidified as a starter, that there might be a market to try to trade him and recoup, let's say, a higher draft. Because I feel like right now, if you shopped him, you're not gonna get much. But I feel like if he had a good if you could convince people he's having a great camp and they saw The preseason film that you know there might be something more there.

And so you have to have your your you have to give yourself protection, which I think Kevin O'Connell and everybody in that building would say they didn't do well enough last year.
