yeah so after on wednesday kyler got the first snap uh out there with the first team uh yesterday on thursday it was jj mccarthy that got the first snap with the first team there after that though kyler spent more time with the first team uh jj was working more with the second team and for the second straight day kyler took more snaps than jj um This, according to Judd's notes, Kyler had 25 reps yesterday. JJ had 20. And then we saw Carson Wentz and Max Brosmer taking some snaps for the first time. Wentz had 10. Brosmer got two. I guess I'll start here. I don't read anything. There's been people that are like, you know, this is an indication that it's not a competition and et cetera, you know, early on there.
I don't agree with that, and I don't read anything into the snap counts here in the first couple days. I think it was one of the reporters from Yahoo who was in town made the point that the Vikings wanted to get Kyler some more familiarity with these receivers that he hasn't worked with before initially. I don't think it matters getting Kyler more familiarity with those guys initially here. So just as far as the straight snap cone, I just want to make that point from the top. I don't read much into that now. Now, if we're 10 days, two weeks, and it's still the exact same thing, then that would be time to read into it, but there's nothing to read into there right now.
Yeah, and I don't think that the people – I haven't really – taking it too seriously in terms of like oh my god he got three more snit let's relax here because your point exactly this is something that judge brought up and other people brought up which is which is exactly right this is jj mccarthy's now third year with the team he knows the receivers he's been in the locker room he's seen the playbook for multiple seasons now Kyler Murray, he's had, you know, the appetizer a few weeks ago with that kind of mini, you know, just walk through installing the offense.
