So Alec Lewis. couple days ago put out kind of a Q and A, Vikings beat Rider for the Athletic, where he was answering people's questions. And somebody asked about the different benchmarks to look for in determining whether JJ McCarthy has taken a step forward.
And he talks about Accuracy's gonna be a thing, his touch and layering of the football and his consistency. Um and he says specifically on the consistency side, how McCarthy shows up to work every day and how his habits progress in his third season are gonna be things to watch. The Vikings have a high standard at the position. They want the starting quarterback to lift the tide for the entire team in two thousand twenty six. This requires a level of discipline, which was up and down last season for McCarthy. So my question to you guys is was was still like going into year three, we saw a ton of talent flashed throughout his starts. Obviously the consistency and the accuracy brought his numbers down and there was a couple of real clunkers, but a couple of really good games as well.
