Yeah, I'm not breaking it down to the degree that you are, and I want to get into your numbers that you're charting because I find some of the numbers fascinating, particularly the shotgun under center. That's great reporting, Judd. I would say from the first couple days, if anyone thought there was going to be this huge separation – I certainly haven't seen it with my inexperienced unprofessional. I, I think there's been some good moments and some bad moments. I, I didn't think the Thursday practice, the second day was very good for either quarterback. It was pretty sloppy. There was a, There was a period of seven, I think, was seven on seven, and it was not good at all. And maybe that's not to be unexpected because it's the first couple days of training camp.
I'm guessing the pace of which you're installing things is a lot more intense than what we saw in OTAs and minicamp. I mean, just everything elevates a little bit. So, you know, if somebody said, okay, who's winning? After, you know, a few days, you know, maybe the coaches have a better – or not maybe, would have a better answer to that. But I'd say it's pretty even. I think JJ's been – I think JJ has had fewer big mistakes than Kyler in terms of like fumbles, the near interceptions, those type of things.
Yeah, I mean, that's such an interesting question because the thing to me, though, is they're being brought along. They're competing. They are splitting snaps, although Kyler's getting slightly more. But they're also on two different tracks of, like, where they clearly are at. I mean, this is JJ's third year here. He's more comfortable. He should be more comfortable. If he wasn't more comfortable, there'd be something wrong. kyler is still you could tell trying to get i mean not just a feel for what they're asking him to do but a feel for the receivers i mean there's been miscommunications with addison with jefferson and so i feel like there are two different two very different points but I can't handicap it, if that makes sense.
And I agree with you. I thought the second day, so Kyler made some mistakes, no question about it. And I gave a slight edge to McCarthy, but I'm with you totally. I didn't think anybody who came away saying J.J. McCarthy had a great day on Thursday, I guarantee you when Kevin O'Connell watched that film on Thursday evening, he did not say that was a great day.
