There was one day of uh mandatory mini camp left, which for the veterans will basically be it. Uh but I would like to get your thoughts on the um on the split reps, the controversy about that.
That's Um JJ McCarthy remaining very curt. He's not playing poorly at all. People are trying to declare a winner. It's um uh it's Basically all hell is breaking loose outside of TCO Performance Center. But give me your thoughts on what you think is going on inside.
Yeah, unfortunately, uh work uh obligations prevented me from uh getting out the to the first two days of minicamp. Um so I've I followed it from afar and watched all the press conferences and I think we said a couple of shows ago or maybe last show that If this was going to be labeled a competition, this was going to be a delicate dance for Kevin O'Connell to manage because You're trying to accomplish two things. One get a new quarterback to a quarterback new to your system up to speed on the on the scheme, which is complex that every quarterback has has come through has said that. And two develop JJ McCarthy And You know uh fix whatever needs to be fixed. You know, give him enough reps to where you feel like um he's his development is being helped by that.
