Yeah, absolutely. Uh dipping back into the mailbag. The overful for uh from yesterday's show. Thank you again to everybody that did submit questions. Um, always helpful, always um kind of it it it makes my job a lot easier. So thank you so much. But uh David Winter is the first one we'll go to here. He says, I've heard a lot about how the Vikings need to improve the running game on offense. But what is confusing to me Is what exactly needs to happen to make the running game better? I'm assuming it involves more than just getting more rushing attempts. So, Thor, can you shed a little light on what you personally want to see to help improve the Vikings running game into the twenty twenty six season and and what that all entails?
Yeah, I mean it's probably threefold. The w one of the folds they they probably haven't done to their heart's desire yet. But the other two is is is I think what what they tried to address this off season. One of them is just schematically. And that's the thing with Frank Smith bringing him in. We're we're gonna try to change the way that we do it a little bit. The the second one is the um Just doing it more, right? Uh uh relying on it, uh running on the early downs, uh establishing it, you know, and uh not to use the cliche, but like the that's the other thing that we would get frustrated about in the past was the quick abandonment of the run game or the the rote, oh it's third and one or third and two, and it's like, okay, well here comes the play action that the defense knows is coming and we're gonna get a seven step deep shot, right?
