People call during the podcast and say, are you open? I want to come there. We have people call who listen to the podcast who don't live here and say, hey, can I get beer in California? We've had a couple people call from California, another guy call from New York. No, you can't get it there. We had another person drive here from Indianapolis, stopped here, was going to a Vikings gang, was a big fan, and actually stopped here on the way because they were podcast fans and Vikings fans. So for us we see really tangible results.

Hello and welcome into Thor Talks Purple Tuesday edition, which means we have the sports dad for a modest proposal where Judd and I each give our modest proposal to the Minnesota Vikings organization for something they could do to improve. Judd, why don't you kick us off?

Why does Judd propose getting Jordan Addison more involved in the Vikings’ run game?

Judd Zulgad 2:23
I certainly will. And you know what? It's weird because the these are like the only three weeks where it's just absolutely football-wise dead. Like but beyond that, there's always stuff. So I had to mine long and hard for this one, but I you know what? I found it. And I found it on Christmas Day. That's right, like a gift delivered from Santa Claus. But it was a gift delivered from the uh play calling of Kevin O'Connell instead. But I'd like to see more. My modest proposal is this. Based on Jordan Addison's sixty-five yard touchdown run, which was the longest touchdown run by the Vikings last season on a jet sweep. uh in that twenty three to ten Christmas Day win against Detroit at US Bank Stadium. I got to thinking
Judd Zulgad 3:04
Why can't Jordan be more involved in the run game at times? No, I'm not saying make him a running back. I'm not saying in in I'm not saying crazy stuff. Uh but did you know that in 2025 he actually had two carries as a as a rusher for 81 yards, so 65 yards and and then what 16 more yards? Both obviously were first downs. And in his career six rushes, one hundred three yards, two touchdowns, three first downs over three seasons, seventeen point two yards per attempt. And if you look at his build, okay? Sort of built like a guy could get the football and run. Like he's not he's not a lanky guy. He is uh he's certainly a strong enough guy. And When you look at the Vikings current run game, it's not really all that threatening.
Judd Zulgad 3:59
And it needs to be. And I'm not saying again, I'm not saying to put him in the backfield or make him a running back. But how could you find ways in in this world of creativity that Kevin O'Connell dabbles in?
